Product description
Compact, stowable full‑size lifting rack: The Agile Rack NEO folds down to approximately 46.5" x 9" x 8" for easy transport or under‑bed/closet storage. When set up it measures roughly 50" x 41" x 65" to provide a full squat and bench footprint.
Materials and construction: Frame tubing is made from structural‑grade 16‑gauge carbon steel for strength while keeping the unit relatively light. The assembled product weighs about 67.5 lb, significantly lighter than many conventional racks but designed to handle heavy loads.
Capacity and bar compatibility: The rack is rated to handle heavy lifting (advertised in the 500–700+ lb range) and fits both standard and Olympic barbells in the approximate length range of 72" to 86". Adjustable J‑hooks allow you to set bar height for squats, bench press, and other barbell movements.
Ready to use and tool‑free setup: The rack ships fully assembled and unfolds for use in under two minutes without requiring tools. Pins and locking knobs secure height and position so you can deploy and fold the unit quickly between workouts.
Free‑standing design for flexible placement: No permanent mounting or wall installation is required, making this rack suitable for renters, training studios, garages, basements, or outdoor sessions. It’s meant to be folded away when not in use to reclaim space.
Pros
- Very compact when folded for storage or travel
- Ships assembled and sets up in minutes without tools
- Works with standard and Olympic barbells
Cons
- Not bolted to floor—can feel less stable at extreme heights
- Some users report small fitment or alignment issues
- Limited initial accessory options
VerdictThe Verse Agile Rack NEO delivers a genuinely portable strength rack that balances durability with compact storage. Its structural‑grade 16‑gauge carbon steel tubing and 67.5 lb weight make it manageable to move yet robust enough for heavy training. The unit arrives assembled and deploys in under two minutes with no tools; adjustable J‑hooks accept standard and Olympic bars from about 72" to 86".

Would buy again
Solid piece of equipment — heavier than expected but feels well made. If you won’t be loading past ~500 lb, the smaller model might be more practical. I stash mine on the top bunk of my truck; the first few times moving it in and out were a workout and a laugh.

Olympic compatible and space friendly
This gave me back a home gym in a very tight space. Assembly was easy and the rack feels stable during lifts. I added the landmine and look forward to more accessories to expand exercise variety. Folds down compactly when not in use.

Quick to set up and tear down
I use it in my garage every session. Folding and unfolding takes only a few minutes and is straightforward.

Good overall but arrived with a defect
I bought this for my basement and outdoor sessions. Everything functions except one welded hook arrived bent and jammed, preventing the height pin from moving. Returning it would have been difficult due to my work schedule, so I kept it, but I was disappointed — I never exceeded 315 lb or abused the rack, so a bent welded piece raised concerns about quality control.

Perfect for a home gym
Simple to deploy and exactly what I needed for bench and squat work in my spare room.

Compact yet feels wobbly at top height
At the highest bar position the bar still shifts a bit even with knobs tightened, which reduces confidence. For a medium‑tall lifter it’s usable, but be cautious at max settings.

Customer service update
Customer support was surprisingly responsive. I asked about additional attachments and was told more accessory options are planned for later this year.

Sturdy once assembled
Very beefy when set up. There’s a short learning curve to folding it right, but after that it goes up and down easily.
