Product description
What’s included: one 7mm PVC jump rope preassembled with two ergonomic silicone handles that house steel ball bearings and a quick click-lock length adjustment.
Construction and materials: The cord is a 7mm-thick PVC sheath over a polyester core, designed to resist bending, cracking, and abrasion. Rotation relies on steel ball bearings inside the handles for smooth, consistent spinning without frequent twisting.
Handles and grip: Each handle is finished with a wavy silicone texture to improve grip when palms get sweaty. The lightweight handle bodies are intended to cut down on hand fatigue during extended sessions.
Sizing and adjustment: A quick click-lock mechanism allows you to shorten the rope to fit different heights without tools. The rope may be trimmed for a permanent length change if needed, so adjust cautiously.
Intended use: The slightly weighted 7mm cable provides added resistance for fat-burning cardio, endurance training, aerobic workouts, HIIT, and boxing fitness. The reinforced PVC construction makes it suitable for gym floors, concrete, garage workouts, patios, and home use.
Pros
- Smooth, consistent rotation from steel ball bearings
- Non-slip silicone handles reduce hand fatigue
- Durable reinforced PVC with polyester core
Cons
- Heavier than thin speed ropes, not ideal for max-speed skipping
- Permanent if you trim the cord shorter
- Some users may find the handles less cushioned
VerdictThis 7mm PVC jump rope delivers a steadier, more controlled rotation than thin speed cords thanks to a slightly weighted cable and steel ball bearings. Ergonomic, textured silicone handles reduce slip during sweaty sets, and the reinforced PVC core improves longevity for indoor and outdoor training. It’s a solid pick for calorie-burning cardio, boxing drills, and endurance work, though those seeki

Close to my top pick
I've tried many ropes and this one ranks just behind my favorite — a great value for comparable performance.

Too thick for beginners
The thick cord stings when it hits you and isn’t forgiving for a novice. You must cut to adjust length, which is irreversible. Feels weighted mainly because of thickness rather than added mass.

A bit heavy
Heavier than I expected compared with speed ropes, but it functions reliably during workouts.

Not much weight
Doesn't feel particularly heavy — lighter than I anticipated.

Solid quality and value
Arrived quickly and packaged well. Works as advertised, feels better than expected, and I’ve had no problems with regular use. Worth the purchase.

Adjustment problem
Once shortened with the click system or a cut you can’t return it to a longer length. Handle comfort could be better — I’m considering a return.

Sturdy and tangle-free
Thicker cord gives a solid feel without being overly heavy. The anti-twist design keeps it from snarling, and the textured silicone grips hold up even when sweaty. Tough enough for hard sessions outdoors.

Good for intense cardio
The 7mm cable adds noticeable resistance, making short workouts feel more demanding and engaging the upper body. Can be challenging for beginners aiming for speed.
