Aquarium Driftwood Branches — 2 Natural Wood Trunks (8–10 cm)

Product description

Included: two individual natural wood branches, sold as a set, each measuring roughly 8–10 cm in length.

Material and look: genuine driftwood with organic grain and irregular shapes. Each piece is unique in form and surface texture, giving a realistic trunk or stump appearance that complements live or artificial plants.

Size and placement: at 8–10 cm per piece these stumps are compact and intended for small to medium aquariums, betta bowls, nano tanks, or terrarium scenes. They can be arranged as foreground ornaments, grouped with stones, or used as subtle focal elements.

How to use: place directly in substrate or rest among decor as decorative stumps. They make convenient anchors for attaching Anubias, Java fern, or small mosses and provide crevices that fish and reptiles can inspect.

Compatibility: suitable for aquatic and terrestrial habitats. Because they are natural wood, some owners choose to sand rough points and rinse thoroughly before placing them with delicate-finned fish or small reptiles.

Pros

  • Authentic natural wood appearance
  • Good for anchoring plants and adding texture
  • Compact size fits small setups

Cons

  • Very small — may be too tiny for larger tanks
  • Irregular edges can be sharp and need sanding
  • Each piece varies in shape and appearance

VerdictA useful pair of small driftwood trunks that bring natural texture and anchor points to planted tanks or reptile setups. They suit small aquaria well and are versatile for both aquatic and terrestrial displays. Keep in mind the pieces are compact and may need light sanding to remove sharp edges before use.

  1. Susana 1/5

    Far smaller than photos

Arrived as two thin twigs, not the sizable ornaments shown. Definitely much smaller than advertised.

  2. mariah watts 3/5

    Just a tiny twig

Not what I imagined — basically a little stick. Much smaller than I pictured.

  3. Ramona 2/5

    Too thin and undersized

Extremely skinny and small. Overall not worth it for my setup.

  4. Angela 5/5

Small but attractive in a nano setup

These look great in my 10-gallon betta tank — the set contains two pieces and both are 8–10 cm as described. They blend nicely with plants and stones. I did file down a couple of sharp tips to protect my betta’s fins, and now I’ve attached Anubias to one which looks very natural. Each piece is different, which I liked.
