Very Large, Sturdy Bioballs That Improved Our Pond Water
These are truly large — close to baseball size — and the 60-count kit with two mesh bags made deployment simple. We used them in a koi pond and a big aquarium; the construction has been solid and they’ve held up through heavy use. The substantial surface area and internal cotton load provide room for beneficial bacteria to build up, which has helped reduce organic buildup and keep water clarity consistent. They won’t fit every filter, but for open pond chambers and roomy sump baskets they’ve been durable, effective, and easy to manage. I’ll keep replacing them when needed.

Good Quality Media, Simple to Use
I’m impressed by the workmanship and the included zippered bags. The 3-inch balls offer lots of surface area for bacteria and have helped stabilize my aquarium’s water. Easy to place and clean, this set has made routine maintenance less of a chore.
