Product description
Natural beech wood handles — Each bar uses a solid beech wood grip that’s smooth to the touch yet naturally tacky. The wooden surface soaks up sweat better than bare metal or slick plastic, helping maintain traction during longer sets. The rounded 1.57" diameter is sized to fit most hands and reduces wrist pressure while permitting a full range of motion.
Heavy-duty steel brackets — The parallettes ride on thick-gauge, fully welded steel supports and reinforced joints to cut out side-to-side and front-to-back wobble. Built and tested to hold up to 660 lbs (300 kg), the rigid frame is intended to stay steady during explosive pushing, dips, L-sits, and static holds.
Non-slip, adjustable foot pads — Each support has eccentric rubber pads (adjustable thickness range ~3–8 mm) that you can rotate to level the stands on uneven floors. The textured rubber increases grip against the floor and shields surfaces from scuffs while preventing slipping during dynamic moves.
Dimensions and weight — The base length is 17" with a 10" footprint and a 12.8" height, giving ample clearance for dips, handstand drills, and L-sits. The full-length grip area accommodates natural hand placement, and the set weighs about 7.7 lbs total, which keeps them sturdy yet portable.
Quick assembly and portability — The kit includes a screwdriver so you can put the parallettes together in minutes without needing other tools. They disassemble quickly for storage or travel and are compact enough to fit in a backpack for outdoor training sessions.
Pros
- Grippy beech wood handles reduce wrist strain
- Fully welded steel frame with 660 lb capacity
- Adjustable rubber feet for stable contact on uneven floors
Cons
- Changing height requires removing multiple bolts
- Not ideal for users needing frequent height swaps
- Slightly heavier than ultra-minimal travel bars
VerdictWell-made parallettes that combine grippy beech wood handles with rugged welded steel brackets and rotatable rubber feet. They offer a high 660 lb capacity, comfortable 1.57" grip, and enough clearance for L-sits and dips. Height changes are secure but not convenient for frequent swaps. Good for home and travel workouts.

Simple assembly and reliable grip
Everything needed was in the kit and putting them together was quick. The wood feels good and the height works well for L-sits and pass-throughs for my 5'8" frame. The feet held firm on hardwood; chalk or grips will extend handle life.

Strong, simple parallettes — easy to store
These are sturdy and have a satisfying weight while remaining easy to move. Assembly was straightforward. Height changes are a bit clunky, but they hold steady during use and tuck away neatly when not needed.

Compact, comfortable wooden parallettes for home use
After several weeks of home workouts these have become a go-to. The smooth wood is nicer on sweaty hands than metal, and they sit flat on the floor. They store easily, though switching heights means removing multiple screws so it’s not practical to swap daily.

Rock-solid parallettes that boosted my calisthenics routine
These feel very sturdy and don’t wobble during dips, L-sits, push-ups or holds. The wooden grips are comfortable and allow natural hand placement. The extra height helps with clearance for L-sits and progressions. Overall they’ve helped me train at home more consistently.

High load capacity and stable performance
At 12.8" they give great clearance for dips, L-sits and handstand work. The wood finish is solid and the non-slip features keep them planted. With a 660 lb rating I feel confident using them for heavier or dynamic movements.

Heavy-feeling wood and metal parallettes with sturdy footprint
They arrive with a substantial feel; handles are smooth and the metal brackets look durable. The 12.8" height gives helpful clearance and the rubber feet let you level the pair on uneven surfaces. Simple, effective design without unnecessary parts.

Good quality but awkward to change heights
Solid build and pleasant wood handle. There are two assembly height options, but switching requires removing eight fasteners, so frequent adjustments aren’t realistic. Lower is best for push-ups, higher for dips — pick one and stick with it.

A dependable starter set for calisthenics
Stable under my hands with no slipping or wobble. They went together with minimal effort and the build feels durable. Using them has helped me focus on technique and I’ve seen steady improvements in a few weeks.
