Product description
This training package contains one 48-inch diameter resistance parachute designed for running drills.
The canopy is constructed from tough parachute cloth combined with netting to help the chute open reliably and create consistent drag. Expected resistance is in the 15–20 lb range when deployed. A webbed waist belt is included to attach the chute to the athlete; the system is intended to accommodate waists up to roughly 42 inches.
The unit is a fully functional sprint chute — parachute, belt and carrying pouch — and is intended for speed, stamina and acceleration training. The canopy is engineered to inflate when the runner reaches sprint velocity, producing the braking force that builds strength and endurance. A compact carry bag is provided for transport and storage. Suggested use includes sprint work and long-distance running sessions to increase power and cardiovascular capacity.
Package contents: 1 × 48" resistance parachute, belt, and carry bag.
Pros
- Durable parachute fabric and netting
- Noticeable 15–20 lb drag for speed training
- Comes with belt and carry bag
Cons
- Waist strap runs large for smaller athletes
- Not easy to fold back into pouch
- Belt has limited fine adjustment
VerdictThis 48-inch resistance chute is a straightforward tool for sprint and conditioning drills. The canopy and netting create meaningful drag (about 15–20 lbs) to challenge acceleration and endurance. It ships as a full set — parachute, belt and carry pouch — and is simple to use. The main drawbacks are the large belt fit for smaller athletes and the awkwardness of repacking the canopy into its bag. O

Great for endurance, strap issues
We use it every off-season to maintain endurance. The waist wrap is too large for my very skinny daughter, so we tie it; it slides on her a fair bit.

Daughter really likes it
Arrived as pictured and works well. We used it to build my daughter’s speed and stamina — it definitely helps improve her sprinting.

Belt not small enough
Velcro strap is much too big for my 9-year-old (around 80 lbs) and doesn’t tighten sufficiently.

Difficult to pack away
Works well, but once deployed it’s hard to fold small enough to fit back into the bag.

Perfect size for kids
Ideal for my 11-year-old — resistance is manageable so training stays fun. Quality seems solid and it shipped quickly.

Improved athletic output
Used for football with my 8-year-old and soccer with an 11-year-old — both showed performance gains. The canopy stays open unless wind is strong.
