Product description
Construction: The ladder is made from 304 stainless steel and each tube is finished through four polishing stages to achieve a bright, corrosion-resistant sheen.
Capacity and versatility: Rated to carry up to 400 lbs, it is suited for use as a boat ladder, dock ladder, swim platform ladder, folding dock ladder and similar boarding applications.
Mounting and removability: The kit ships with deck-mount brackets. The hook at the top doubles as a grab rail and can be folded inward when the ladder is not in use to minimize the space it occupies.
Fit and dimensions: Center-to-center width is 13" with a 7-1/2" support leg and a 5" gunwale hook clearance. The 4-step version measures 45.13" when deployed and folds to 28.4" for storage. Deck mount brackets are included with the ladder.
Pros
- Durable 304 stainless construction
- Folds compactly and removable with brackets
- 400 lb rated capacity for broad use
Cons
- Higher upfront cost than some alternatives
- Requires drilling for permanent mounting
- May need minor trimming or adjustment for tight installations
VerdictThis removable folding ladder delivers solid build quality and practical features for boarding small boats and dock use. The 304 stainless tubes are highly polished and hold up well under load; mounting hardware and fold-flat hooks make it versatile and tidy when not in use. It’s a durable solution if you need a stable, compact boarding aid and don’t mind a higher initial outlay.

Dood 5/5
High-quality construction
Heavy-gauge stainless with tight hinges. The 8" stand-off gives a solid foothold. I hesitated to drill holes but the install proved worth it despite being a bit expensive.

Well-made boarding ladder
Folds neatly for storage and worked perfectly on my transom. Brackets are robust with backing plates; I purchased an extra set to add another boarding point.

Nicely built but not cheap
A bit pricier than rivals, yet very well made—reliable hardware for the investment.
