Product description
This kit is made for boats roughly 12 to 22 feet in length and comes ready to use out of the box. You can select from 8 lb, 10 lb or 13 lb versions of the fluke-style anchor depending on your boat and conditions.
The anchor is hot-dipped galvanized for corrosion resistance and measures approximately 19.75" long by 14.5" wide with a 4.5" profile. Its fluke design is intended to dig in quickly and hold well in sand, mud and many mixed bottoms.
Included with the anchor is a 3/8" by 75' nylon anchor rope fitted with a stainless steel marine-grade thimble to protect the line at hitch points. The rope provides stretch to absorb shock in current or chop.
A 6.5-foot length of 1/4" hot-dipped galvanized chain is supplied to add weight and abrasion resistance between the anchor and rode. The kit also includes two 1/4" hot-dipped galvanized shackles for secure connections.
This package is especially suited for river and current fishing where quick setting and dependable holding are priorities. It’s a full kit meant to get you anchored without needing additional hardware.
Pros
- Complete kit with rope, chain and shackles
- Hot-dipped galvanized for corrosion resistance
- Fluke design bites quickly in soft and mixed bottoms
Cons
- Crossbar may be too wide for some bow lockers
- Chain is not rubber coated
- Heavier than ultralight anchor options
VerdictA practical all-in-one anchor set for small to midsize runabouts. The hot-dipped galvanized fluke anchor offers fast bite and reliable holding in soft or mixed bottoms, and the included nylon rode, thimble, chain and shackles let you rig immediately. Expect a sturdy, no-frills kit that trades ultralight portability for secure anchoring and corrosion resistance.

Performs reliably on my AR195
Sets quickly on murky lake bottoms and hasn't dragged my Yamaha AR195. Heavier than expected and the chain is uncoated, so handle with care to avoid scuffs. Too wide for my bow locker, so I keep it as a spare.
