Product description
Constructed with solid 23AWG bare copper conductors in a U/UTP layout, this cable delivers low resistance and reliable signal transmission. The solid copper conductors are ideal for permanent structured cabling and Power over Ethernet deployments.
The jacket is a flame-retardant CMR-grade PVC and the assembly is UL listed for riser-rated applications. That makes this cable suitable for vertical pathway installs and in-wall runs where CMR certification is required; always follow local building and electrical codes.
Engineered to Cat6 specifications, the cable supports bandwidth up to 550 MHz and Ethernet speeds up to 10 Gbps. It is appropriate for connecting switches, routers, patch panels, IP cameras, wireless access points, VoIP phones and servers in residential and commercial settings.
Available lengths include 300 ft, 500 ft and 1000 ft spools, and jacket colors include Black, White and Blue so you can select the length and color that fit your layout and color-coding scheme.
The cable ships in an easy-pull payout box for smoother dispensing on the job. Its solid construction is simple to measure, cut, route and terminate using compatible keystone jacks and RJ45 connectors to create custom-length runs.
Pros
- Solid 23AWG copper for stable conductivity
- UL-listed CMR jacket for riser/in-wall installs
- Supplied in payout box for neat dispensing
Cons
- Not plenum-rated — not for air-handling spaces
- Solid conductors are less flexible than stranded patch cords
- Bulk spool can be heavy for one-person handling
VerdictThis 23AWG solid-conductor Cat6 riser cable is built for permanent structured wiring and Power over Ethernet setups. The UL-listed CMR PVC jacket makes it appropriate for riser vertical runs and in-wall installs when CMR is required. It supports up to 550 MHz and 10 Gbps for switches, cameras, access points and servers, and is simple to cut and terminate with keystone jacks or RJ45 connectors. Pac

Very flexible, minor packaging issue
Super flexible so I glued it along the baseboard and it stayed out of kids' reach while hitting gigabit speeds. The box arrived a bit dirty but cleaned up fine.

Easier to manage than round cords
Round cables were stiff; these flat 10 ft cables let me pull devices out to troubleshoot without tangles. Good overall.

Thin and easy to hide
Several runs under the baseboard are virtually invisible. Needed 35 ft and the extra length was ideal, just avoid sharp kinks.
