Product description
This electronic pet door kit includes the motorized flap unit, four collar sensor transponders, a handheld remote control, and an installation template with mounting hardware. The unit offers four-way locking modes (in-only, out-only, both directions, or fully locked) so you can tailor access for feeding areas, bedrooms, or litter rooms.
The housing is molded from durable impact-resistant plastic with a clear swinging flap and an internal magnetic seal to hold it closed. The mechanism operates quietly and is designed for daily indoor use, helping reduce drafts and preserve privacy between rooms. A remote lets you override the sensor from a short distance.
The collar sensors use RFID technology and are supplied as four small tags that attach to included collars or fit existing collars. The flap opening is sized to accommodate most domestic cats and many medium housecats; the design is intended for standard interior doors and similar partition walls.
Installation is intended for common interior doors and uses a simple cutout guided by the provided diagram; basic tools are sufficient for assembly. The manufacturer supplies the mounting screws and trim pieces so the unit can be flush-mounted into a door panel or an interior partition.
Important: metal doors or metal-lined walls can interfere with RFID tag reading and reduce the effective range of the collar sensors. Also expect a firm magnetic closure—pets will need to push decisively to pass through. Batteries for the remote or unit are not included in the box.
Pros
- Selective RFID entry to allow only paired pets
- Quiet operation with multiple lock modes
- Includes four collar sensors and remote control
Cons
- RFID range can be reduced by metal doors or walls
- Magnetic seal requires a firm push from the pet
- Batteries not included for remote/unit
VerdictThis interior RFID cat door gives controlled, hands-free access for registered pets and is solidly built with quiet operation and multiple lock options. It excels at keeping unregistered animals out and simplifying multi-pet management, though RFID reading can be affected by metal and the flap requires a firm push against a strong magnetic seal.

Quick setup and useful for feeding control
Solved our problem of one cat eating another’s food by separating feeding areas. Lightweight, worked for our tiny kitten, and installation took around 12 minutes. Programming was straightforward; it includes four collars, a remote, and multiple modes. Batteries not included.

Handy addition to the laundry room
Great for keeping the litter box out of sight while letting the cat in. Discreet, simple to fit into the door, and it has made life easier for both the cat and us.

Performs exactly as expected
Easy to install and well built. My cat learned quickly and can now come and go without me opening the door. It blends into the door and is very convenient; I’d recommend it to fellow cat owners.

Auto flap works smoothly
The collar sensor recognizes my cat reliably and keeps others out. Multiple locking modes and the remote are useful. It opens smoothly, is reasonably quiet, and prevents the door from being left open.

Solid construction but paw pressure is a concern
Feels high quality — sturdy plastics and a strong magnetic seal. Cats needed some time to learn to push through because the magnet holds it in place. I like the key fob (wish there were two). Very durable; we use it to separate rambunctious kittens from an older cat with special needs.

Worthwhile purchase
Simple installation and it feels secure. Construction exceeded my expectations and the opening size is perfect for my cats. Highly recommended if you worry about stray animals getting in.

Four sensors and solid design
Appreciate the four collar transponders. The installation diagram made the cutout straightforward. Well made, several entry/exit modes, remote control included, and the flap fits my larger cats.

Doesn't reliably detect the collar
The sensor only triggers when the tag is within about two inches. The remote works, but that defeats the automatic purpose. We reinstalled and swapped tags without success and missed the return window.
