Product description
This product ships as a single assembled barrier kit that includes the alloy support frame, a thickened rubberized mesh cover, a removable clear viewing panel, and the set of straps and buckles that secure to headrests and seat frames.
The frame is made from lightweight yet rigid alloy tubing, designed as a one-piece structure to minimize gaps along the top, bottom, and sides. The cover is formed from a dense, hot-pressed rubber mesh that resists water, pet hair, scratches and light bites while remaining slightly flexible for comfort.
A zip-in, transparent visual window is built into the center to let you check on your pet and to provide a point where a dog can rest its head; the window can be closed or removed depending on preference. The mesh body allows airflow from rear vents or the cabin heater to come through so animals remain comfortable in warm or cool conditions.
Installation requires no tools: unfold the barrier, seat the alloy frame, and fasten the adjustable straps to the front seat headrests and seat frame. When not in use the unit folds down to a compact size for easy storage in a trunk or closet.
Dimensions are 52 x 31 inches. It is intended for installation behind front seats or between rear and cargo areas and is sized for mid-sized sedans, smaller trucks, and mid-sized SUVs. Measure the width and height behind your front or rear headrests to confirm fit for your vehicle.
Pros
- One-piece alloy frame for sturdy, gap-minimizing coverage
- Thick, waterproof, anti-scratch rubber mesh with airflow
- Removable clear window to monitor or comfort your pet
Cons
- Clear window can produce glare in some lighting
- Fit depends on headrest position — may leave top gap
- Canvas can be tight to stretch over frame during assembly
VerdictThis one-piece barrier delivers solid coverage and straightforward installation for many mid-size vehicles. The alloy frame and reinforced mesh resist scratches and chewing while allowing airflow. The removable clear window helps reduce pet anxiety and lets you glance back, though glare and fit can vary by vehicle. Overall a durable, easy-to-store option for keeping pets confined to the rear.

Fits my 5th Gen 4Runner perfectly
Quick to assemble and install, and it feels rock-solid once secured. It doesn’t block my rearview and can be angled to match my vehicle’s contours for a custom fit.

Good idea, but glare from the window
The clear panel creates glare that can be distracting. Otherwise the design is smart; I’m planning to alter the window with Velcro and a cover to reduce reflections.

Mixed feelings
The flip window causes glare and the top bar can intrude into the rear view, but it reliably keeps the dog in the back, which is the main goal.

Perfect for transporting cats
Fits my Genesis GV80 and makes ferrying three cats much easier and safer. Holds them in the rear as intended.

Works well but check headrest placement
Performs reliably and feels solid, but where your headrest ties sit affects the final position and can leave a top gap. Fits my 2024 Honda HR-V fine after trial and adjustment.

Sturdy for two medium dogs
Handles both my kelpie and border collie without issue. Very solid construction for active breeds.

Great fit in my GMC Sierra 1500
Large size fit my 2024 Sierra AT4x perfectly. Easy setup and solid when fastened. The window is thick and the mesh should let some airflow, though it blocks lower vents a bit.

Does the job in my Forester
Fits snugly in my 2025 Subaru Forester and keeps dogs from reaching the front seats. Simple and dependable.

Canvas was too small for the frame
I followed the steps but the fabric wouldn’t wrap fully around the bars. Tried adjusting the frame and using a mallet with no success. I’m hoping to return it.

Exactly what I needed for my great dane
Very sturdy even with a seat protector in place. The fabric was tight to stretch over the frame at first but relaxed after a day. The window lets my dog rest her head but can be closed when I need to keep her in the back.
