Acedeck Portable Gym Timer Clock — Rechargeable Interval Timer

Product description

What’s in the box: the compact LED timer unit, an infrared remote control, USB-C charging cable, a protective zip pouch, and a quick-start manual.

Build and dimensions: The timer has a hard ABS-plastic housing with silicone control keys, a high-visibility LED display, and a strong magnetic plate on the rear for mounting to metal racks or equipment. It’s palm-sized and lightweight (roughly 6 × 2.5 × 0.8 inches), designed to be moved between home gyms, boxes, or taken on the road.

Power and alerts: A built-in rechargeable battery provides up to about 40 hours of operation per full charge. The unit gives a 10% low-battery warning and features a 3% auto-shutdown safeguard to save your settings. Charging is handled via the included USB-C cable.

Modes and programming: There are six factory presets — Tabata, FGB, EMOM, Countdown, Count-up and Stopwatch — plus three user slots (P1–P3) for custom interval sequences. Switching between 12-hour and 24-hour formats is supported. Four brightness levels let you tailor visibility from bright gym floors to dimmer spaces.

Placement and control: The magnetic rear allows fast attachment to metal surfaces and easy repositioning mid-session. The included remote lets you start, stop, pause and adjust intervals from across the room, useful for coaches or group classes. The timer also doubles as a Pomodoro or study timer, making it a practical, multi-use gadget for routines and focus training.

Pros

  • Strong magnetic mount for flexible placement
  • Long rechargeable battery with USB-C charging
  • Multiple presets plus three customizable programs

Cons

  • Remote range can be limited in larger spaces
  • Alert buzzer is a bit quiet for some users
  • Some reports of durability issues over long-term use

VerdictAcedeck’s portable gym clock delivers a flexible, pocket-sized timing solution for HIIT, CrossFit, boxing and general training. The magnetized back and included remote make placement and operation convenient across a garage or studio. Battery life and brightness settings are strong points, and the variety of preset and custom programs handles most interval needs. Some users note limits with remote

  1. C Miles 5/5

    No fuss, ready to go

Arrived with the presets I use and a protective pouch to keep it safe. No complicated setup required. Rechargeable and accurate for every workout.

  2. Cory matthews 5/5

    Exactly what I needed

Handy features, strong magnet and a useful remote. Setup was simple and it noticeably improved my workouts. Customer support was responsive as well.

  3. AK36 5/5

    Really solid interval clock

I grabbed this Acedeck timer and it’s been dependable so far. The display is crisp and readable from across my garage gym, which makes intervals and rounds easy to follow. The magnetic rear holds tight to my rack without sliding, so I can reposition it quickly between stations. Programming presets and custom slots are straightforward to set up. The housing feels sturdy and the battery lasts a long time between charges. Compact enough to stash in a bag for travel but robust enough for regular sessions.

  4. Andrew Shipley 5/5

    Sturdy magnet and long battery

Very good battery life and the magnet sticks extremely well. Tabata preset is handy and programming intervals is easy. My only wish is a slightly louder buzzer — if you wear headphones it can be hard to notice the beeps.

  5. BigChief 4/5

Handy for gym and classroom use

I use this in class and for intramurals to keep time on the fly. The remote takes a little getting used to but does the job. Battery longevity is impressive.

  6. Dreyvon 2/5

    Stopped working after months

I got this in June and it worked until January when it wouldn’t power on — the power button stopped actuating. Remote range could be finicky during use. It performed okay while it lasted, but I wouldn’t recommend based on my experience.
