Product description
Enterprise-grade dual 4K docking station designed to streamline hybrid and office setups. The VT4600DL provides two video outputs capable of 4K resolution, a gigabit Ethernet jack, analog headset/audio support, multiple USB‑A ports for peripherals, and a high‑wattage laptop charging pass‑through via USB‑C.
In the box you’ll find the docking unit, an external power adapter, and both USB‑C and USB‑A host cables plus a quick start guide. The enclosure is built from a durable, desk‑friendly composite housing with reinforced connectors and a low‑profile footprint that fits alongside monitors and laptop stands.
It supports Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS systems and uses DisplayLink USB graphics technology to provide dual‑display output even when the host system’s native ports are limited. To get full functionality you may need to install the supplied DisplayLink driver and grant any required OS permissions.
Use it by connecting the dock to power, plugging the host cable (USB‑C or USB‑A) into your laptop, and attaching monitors, keyboard, mouse, headset, and Ethernet. The dock consolidates these connections so a single cable to your computer restores displays, network, audio, and USB accessories quickly for hot‑desk or fixed workstation workflows.
Pros
- Single-cable power and data consolidation
- Supports dual 4K displays via DisplayLink
- Plenty of ports including Gigabit Ethernet
Cons
- Requires driver and occasional permissions on some OSes
- Initial setup can need troubleshooting
- Slight delay handing off displays at boot
VerdictThis dock standardizes dual‑monitor workstations by combining power, network, audio, and USB connectivity into one connection. It relies on DisplayLink graphics for reliable multiple-display output on systems that lack native multi‑display support. Expect a robust set of ports and sensible enterprise compatibility; setup can require a driver install step to reach full functionality.

Took troubleshooting, now dependable
This solves the single‑cable MacBook docking need but required extra steps to enable. After granting accessory permissions, installing the correct driver, restarting, and power‑cycling the dock the displays appeared. Once completed everything is stable: monitors, USB devices and networking work reliably and I can connect via one cable to restore my full workstation.

Works well after a specific setup sequence
After initial trouble I found a reliable setup routine. If you follow the included sequence exactly it may fail; instead, leave only the dock powered, connect the laptop, install the DisplayLink driver (admin rights required), then power everything down and reconnect. Once configured the two monitors, Ethernet and four USB devices worked as expected. There is about a one to two second delay before external displays activate on boot, which felt a touch slower than a simple USB hub I previously used.

Easy setup; feature rich
Installation was mostly plug-and-play — power, hook up monitors and laptop, and follow the illustrated guide. I skipped the DisplayLink download because my two HDMI monitors worked immediately. Video was crisp on non‑4K displays and the dock offers multiple HDMI and DP connections. I didn’t need Ethernet, but the port and the host connection behaved without issue. There are plenty of USB ports for accessories.

Convenient single‑cable docking
Setup was straightforward and now I plug in one cable to restore monitors, scanners and printers. Charging is strong and desktop clutter is gone. For extended displays make sure you use the correct monitor cable pair (HDMI+DisplayPort or two DisplayPort leads) for extended mode. Once cables are right the large monitors run fine and the unit feels solidly built.
