What’s included: eight round cake boards, each labeled as 10 inches in diameter and intended to support cakes up to about 9 inches across.
Materials and construction: the discs are manufactured from food-grade cardboard suitable for direct contact with cakes and other desserts. A laminated process bonds multiple layers and a reinforced corrugated core to increase stiffness and load capacity. One face is given a glossy, waterproof coating that resists oil, butter and fruit moisture; the opposite face has a matte, slightly textured finish to improve grip when carrying or sliding the board. The paperboard carries FSC certification and is recyclable. With a simple wipe they can be reused in many cases.
How to use: place the glossy, coated side upward when staging a cake so grease or filling won’t soak through. Use the matte side down when you need better hand traction while transporting the cake. The boards are suitable for single-tier and stacked desserts, as well as pies, pizzas, breads and other baked goods. Their rigidity helps prevent bending under heavier confections, making them practical for home kitchens, bakeries and party preparations.

These boards are robust but measured closer to 9.5 inches; they work best with 8-inch cakes if you want a visible border. One face is glossy and resists grease; the reverse has more grip. No bending so far.
