Logitech ERGO K860 Wireless Split Ergonomic Keyboard with Memory-Foam Rest

Product description

Design and purpose: The ERGO K860 is a full-size, split ergonomic keyboard designed to promote a more natural hand and wrist posture. The keyframe is gently curved and divided into two zones to encourage shoulder-width hand placement and to lessen torque on forearms and wrists.

Wrist support and typing surface: An integrated pillowed wrist rest contains a memory-foam layer beneath a fabric cover to cushion the palms and guide the wrists into a gentler angle. Logitech states this configuration provides substantially more wrist support and reduces upward wrist bending when compared to a typical flat keyboard without a palm rest. Keys are contoured—scooped to match fingertip shape—for comfortable, precise fingertip contact.

Adjustability and layout: The keyboard sits on ergonomically designed tilt legs with multiple angles (flat and two raised settings) so you can fine-tune palm lift whether sitting or standing. It has a full-size layout that includes a numeric keypad and an illuminated Caps Lock indicator. Function key behavior can be customized, and the device is intended for extended daily typing sessions.

Connectivity and power: You can connect via the included USB wireless receiver or pair the keyboard using Bluetooth to multiple devices. It supports multi-device switching and is specified to deliver extended battery life under typical use. The keys are engineered to be quiet and responsive for office or home environments.

Certifications and sustainability: The ERGO K860 carries ergonomics certification intended to show it can help reduce muscle strain. The Graphite model incorporates a high percentage of certified post-consumer recycled plastic in its external parts, and packaging uses FSC-certified paper to support responsible materials sourcing.

What’s in the box: The package contains the wireless ERGO K860 keyboard with its integrated pillowed wrist rest and the USB wireless receiver, along with documentation for setup and warranty information.

Stopped working after 11 months, swift replacement from support

One key stopped registering after about eleven months. I reached out to support and they shipped a replacement quickly. Aside from that single failure, I enjoyed using it and will purchase from this brand again.

Resolved chronic hand pain — huge daily improvement

As an engineer who types all day, I was struggling with hand inflammation. Flat keyboards forced my fingers into awkward positions; this K860’s inward curve and wrist support let my hands relax, eliminating the constant compensatory effort. Typing is now comfortable and almost enjoyable again. This change has had an outsized positive effect on my daily life.

  3. Customer 1/5

Quiet keys but frustrating connectivity and layout choices

I bought this for a quieter experience but was let down by intermittent connection lag where keystrokes appear delayed, and an unfamiliar combined Windows/Mac marking layout that made key locations less intuitive. The keys themselves are quiet, and there are some handy dedicated keys, but the connectivity and labeling issues made the transition annoying.

  4. Patrick Scalia 5/5

Made long typing sessions manageable with wrist issues

After a month of use this keyboard has helped reduce my wrist pain. I did have to re-train my fingers because of the split layout, but that was expected. I have carpal tunnel and another nerve condition that made long stretches at the keyboard difficult; this model has improved my comfort and endurance while I finish a novel. It’s comfortable for extended typing and worth the investment for me.

Excellent comfort and solid build, setup could be clearer

Switching from a flat keyboard to this split design is a notable change, but the wrist rest and memory foam are excellent at guiding natural hand position. The typing feel is satisfying and quiet, and the fabric on the rest looks durable. My main gripe is the lack of straightforward out-of-box setup instructions for multi-device pairing and function-key behavior.

  6. Michael Wright 5/5

Familiar ergonomic shape with quieter keys

I’ve used ergonomic keyboards for years and the shape of this unit felt close to the model I used previously. The scooped keys are subtle and much quieter than older boards I’ve loved. The overall layout is comfortable and the transition was smooth—keys are pleasant under the fingers without the deep divots I was worried about.

  7. A. Kintz 5/5

Finally a true competitor to the established split designs

I replaced an older split keyboard I liked and found this model a solid modern alternative. The spacing feels slightly different from my previous unit, but the general split layout and typing experience match what I was looking for. It’s a long-awaited contender in this form factor.

  8. ZenGeekDad 5/5

Strong key feel but had early quirks and odd key placement

My initial experience included some lockups and a frustrating media/F-key toggle behavior, plus the context-menu key wasn’t obvious. Over time some of those issues subsided and I discovered an alternate context-menu location on the board. I ended up buying a second unit for the office to avoid switching between different layouts, and overall I’m now mostly satisfied.
