Teeter FitSpine X1 Inversion Table — Decompression and Stretch System

Product description

The FitSpine X1 arrives ready to deliver traction therapy and stretching: a FitSpine decompression backrest with a patented 8-point floating suspension system that lets your body glide for a fuller stretch. An accessory pack is built in — eight acupressure nodes in staggered heights for trigger-point relief plus an adjustable lumbar bridge to concentrate arch and lower-back traction.

Comfort features include wrap-around ankle support cups paired with an easy-dial, two-position foot platform so you can set a secure, ergonomic hold. Rotation is controlled by a smooth, responsive mechanism and an adjustable angle tether that lets you preset your maximum incline or remove it for full inversion lock-out.

Handholds integrated into the backrest and frame provide extra leverage for enhanced stretching and joint mobilization at different angles. The table is constructed for heavy-duty use with a sturdy frame and cushioning designed to support a wide range of users; it folds for storage but is substantial when set up.

A companion app with guided visual and audio routines (no subscription required) is included to help users progress through guided sessions. The product is UL safety certified and is registered with the FDA as a 510(k) medical device for indications such as back pain, muscle tension, certain disc conditions and related spinal issues.

Pros

  • FitSpine backrest and floating suspension for fuller decompression
  • Integrated acupressure nodes and adjustable lumbar bridge
  • Ergo wrap-around ankle supports with smooth rotation control

Cons

  • Heavy and awkward to move when folded
  • Requires floor space despite folding capability
  • Takes a few sessions to find comfortable balance and angle

VerdictA well-built inversion table that prioritizes decompression, comfort and safety. The FitSpine backrest and integrated accessories enhance traction and targeted relief, while the ankle system and rotation controls make inversion approachable. It’s robust and feels secure, though it’s bulky to move and takes some practice to use effectively.

Reviews

  1. SCOTT BOURGEOIS 4/5

    Not as compact as advertised

Performs well but isn’t as small or easy to reposition as marketing suggests.

  2. Jason Pettit 5/5

    Straightforward setup

Assembly was simple and it started relieving my back pain soon after.

  3. 'Diane' 5/5

    Noticeable improvement fast

After a week of use I feel better and I’m sleeping more soundly.

  4. Steven C Breyak 5/5

Solid build and space-efficient for a sturdy unit

Check with a clinician before use, but this table helped me recover from a painful S1 herniation when combined with PT. Construction feels durable, ankle pads are comfortable, and it inverts fully. It folds for storage but is heavy to move solo, so plan placement carefully.

  5. Mohammad 5/5

    Good quality overall

Solid construction and helped reduce my back discomfort.

  6. samir khan 5/5

    Extremely effective for discs

I had a degenerative thoracic disc and was pushed toward invasive options. This table provided significant relief for both me and my dad with just a few weekly sessions. I’ve recommended it to coworkers who had similar results.

  7. rc 5/5

    Well made and dependable

A bulging disc left me in a lot of pain; slow use of this table helped immensely. Take it easy at first, use thick socks for extra ankle comfort, and increase inversion gradually. The construction inspires confidence.

  8. Sandra 5/5

    Takes practice but effective

First sessions were wobbly and left my lower back sore, but after rewatching the instructions I started conservatively. Now I do short five-minute sessions, rock to find balance, and gradually increase inversion. At 70 I’m improving and feel much better.

  9. Shawn M. 5/5

Worth the investment for pain relief

Bought this for my wife’s scoliosis and my occasional sciatica. We were hesitant at first but chose a reputable model for safety. The medically certified design convinced us. We now use it daily — it adjusts easily between our very different heights and weights and has helped reduce our need for frequent clinic visits.
