Product description
What you get: two 5.0 fl oz bottles of Garnier Fructis Pure Clean Detangler + Air Dry Spray. Each spray is designed to be used on damp hair to ease knot removal and support natural air-drying without increased frizz.
Formula and ingredients: The spray is free of silicones and parabens and includes aloe extract and vitamin E to help moisturize and smooth the hair cuticle. The recipe is vegan and contains no animal-derived ingredients or by-products, and it avoids dyes.
How to use: Apply to towel-dried hair and comb through to distribute evenly. You can let hair air dry for a softer, controlled finish or use a blow dryer and styling tools as desired. Regular use helps restore a smoother, softer look with added shine while helping control flyaways and frizz.
Performance notes: The lightweight feel prevents heavy buildup on fine strands, but combing after application is recommended to prevent a slightly stiff texture as it dries. Packaging may vary and some users prefer larger or pump-style bottles for shower convenience.
Pros
- Silicone- and paraben-free formula
- Contains aloe extract and vitamin E for softness and shine
- Lightweight — detangles and tames frizz without heavy buildup
Cons
- Flip cap can trap water and be awkward to open
- May not remove very stubborn tangles on its own
- Can feel slightly stiff if not combed through on damp hair
VerdictThis two-bottle set delivers a lightweight detangling spray that works whether you let hair air-dry or style with heat. Formulated without silicones or parabens and boosted with aloe and vitamin E, it softens and reduces frizz while leaving a fresh scent. It’s a solid choice for daily use, though you’ll want to comb it through damp hair to avoid any stiff feel as it dries. Packaging can be awkward

Another solid Garnier find
I collect hair products and this joined my favorites. It smells fresh and works well when I air dry. I spritz it on damp hair and comb through—if you skip combing it can dry a bit crunchy. Great for anyone who prefers air drying and wants softer, shinier hair.

Works for air-dry or heat styling
We really like this spray. I can leave hair to dry or use a dryer and flat iron; it helps detangle and smooth. Simple and effective — I’d recommend it.

Fragrance keeps me repurchasing
This detangler does a good job loosening knots and leaves hair feeling silky. The scent is the standout — it stays fresh and clean, so I keep buying it for that alone.

Nice scent but not miracle detangler
I like how it smells, but it didn’t remove tangles as thoroughly as I hoped. It’s decent overall, just not a total tangle-solver.

Lightweight detangling at a good price
A clean, lightweight leave-in that rescues my flat, dry hair without costing a lot. Fine hair needs something thin, and this fits the bill. Smells great and gets the job done.

Three products that changed my routine
The shampoo cleans without stripping, the conditioner adds moisture, and the detangler helps with styling. Free of silicones, parabens, and dyes, the combo left my hair softer and smelling fresh. The detangler also makes air-drying less frizzy.

Ideal trio for fine, wavy hair
I bought the set mainly for the shampoo and conditioner but tried the air-dry spray and was impressed. The cleansing duo feels light and non-greasy, and the spray won’t weigh my hair down like other leave-ins. Lightweight, pleasant scent, and actually helps with frizz.

Scent is fantastic — packaging needs work
I love the clean fragrance and the shine it gives my thin-to-medium hair. My issue is the cap: it’s hard to open in the shower and can collect water, which worries me. I switched to a pump bottle to avoid that, so packaging cost me a star.
