Product description
All-in-one starter package: The kit arrives with multiple colors of yarn, two crochet hooks, safety eyes, stitch markers, yarn needles, stuffing, a glue stick and printed instructions. Everything required to complete the six hanging plant projects is included so you can begin right away without sourcing additional tools.
Guided video lessons: The instruction booklet is paired with QR codes that link to step-by-step video demonstrations. Those videos walk through each stitch and assembly step, guiding makers through patterns for crocheted succulents, a cactus, anthurium, monstera, datura and a boston-fern style piece.
Extra yarn for practice: Each color includes a generous surplus — roughly a 40% allowance — so you have room for practice, rework or looser/tighter tension. The extra yarn also lets you experiment by making small add-ons like hair accessories, earrings or bookmarks.
Comfort and relaxation: The finished amigurumi have a soft, squeezable body thanks to the included stuffing, making them pleasant to handle. Crocheting the pieces can be used as a calming hobby to help unwind after a busy day.
Gift and décor options: Completed plants work as tabletop or hanging decor in living spaces, dorms, or cars. They also convert easily into keychains, bag charms or small play toys for pets. The set makes a seasonal or hobby gift for friends and family learning the craft.
Six-piece project set: Designed for short creative sessions, weekend projects or group crafting meetups, the kit is sized to produce six small hanging plant amigurumi — a compact, shareable set for beginners and hobbyists alike.

Comes with lots of materials for bookmarks
The box includes everything to make multiple flower bookmarks: two instruction booklets, two hooks, eight stitch markers, a yarn needle and 11 small yarn balls. QR codes link to videos with audio and step visuals that can be paused and replayed, which helps. I did need to look up an extra tutorial for the magic ring, and overall the written guide assumes some prior skill — as a novice I still found parts confusing.

Good starter set — videos are the helpful part
The kit is bright and includes a nice range of threads and tools. The paper instructions were tricky to follow, but the QR-driven video lessons break steps into manageable segments and are much easier to follow. It’s a cute gift idea though perhaps a little pricey for what’s included.

Fun and good value for a first project
This was my first real attempt at crocheting and the initial learning curve was tough, but now I’m making cute pieces in the evenings. My first salamander-style attempt ended up lopsided and silly, but the videos on YouTube (linked by QR) helped a lot. Overall a fun starter.

Good tools included — hooks match the yarn
Two crochet hooks are provided and they work well with the supplied yarn. As an intermediate crocheter the patterns were straightforward; beginners should use the QR-linked videos for guidance. There’s more than enough yarn for the projects.

Too advanced for a true beginner
I found the written instructions quick and not detailed enough, so I needed to watch external tutorials to get started. The yarn also tends to fray and splits while pulling through stitches, which makes it frustrating for someone who’s still learning.

Adorable results but a lot of steps
Nice way to get back into crochet — the animals are very cute. A few annoyances: the yarn can unravel frequently, each piece has many small parts so you do a lot of counting and sewing, and I spent lots of time threading and finishing. Still enjoyed it and might try a sweater next.

Smartly put-together beginner set
The step-by-step videos clarify each stitch and technique, and the extra yarn is thoughtful for practice and mistakes. The little plant designs are motivating and the kit components are well organized. It’s an easy option to give someone who wants to learn amigurumi.

Super cute projects
A delightful kit. Not ideal for absolute first-timers, but once you know basic stitches it’s enjoyable and produces charming results.

Very disappointed — quality issues
I was really let down. The yarn split repeatedly during use, the needle felt inferior compared with ones I already owned, and the printed instructions weren’t friendly to learners. Overall I found the product poor quality and frustrating to work with.

Excellent for newcomers to crochet
I enjoy crafting and this set is ideal for learners of any age. It includes yarn, stuffing, safety eyes and needles so the finished toys are soft and gift-ready. The instructions even explain embroidered eyes for toddler-safe toys. The patterns are clear and inspire creating other characters from the same techniques.

Comprehensive kit that I enjoy
I taught myself to crochet during lockdown and now crochet a wide range of items. This kit impressed me because it contains every tool and notion needed to finish the projects. It also includes a printed, full-color instruction booklet — I prefer a physical copy so I can jot notes rather than rely only on a tablet or phone. As an intermediate maker I appreciate how complete the set is for finishing the pieces.
