Product description
Set contents and size: The package contains two globe-string LED strands, each measuring 26 feet with 60 LEDs apiece for a combined length of 52 feet and 120 bulbs. The bulbs are housed in small globe covers that diffuse the light into a soft warm-white glow, suitable for patios, bedrooms, tents, tree wraps and event décor.
Power and controls: These strings run on three AA batteries per strand (batteries sold separately) and include a remote control for distance operation. There is also a manual control button on the battery pack so you can cycle modes without the remote. Eight lighting patterns are available (combination, wave, sequential, slow glow, flash, slow fade, twinkle and steady) to set different moods.
Weather resistance: The strands are built to IP65 standards, meaning the light string itself resists rain, splashes and typical outdoor conditions. The design helps protect the LEDs and wiring from wet weather so you can hang them outdoors during celebrations and seasonal displays.
Materials and build: The lights use LED elements within plastic globe housings and flexible copper wiring. The globe covers soften the LEDs for a warmer appearance compared with bare LEDs, and the wiring is lightweight for easy draping and wrapping around posts or trunks.
Typical uses: Because they are battery powered and portable, these lights are well suited for locations without access to an outlet — wrapping tree trunks, lining railings, accenting tents or staging small tabletop displays. The range of modes lets you switch between steady illumination and animated patterns depending on the occasion.
Care and expectations: While the IP65 protection allows outdoor use, extended daily operation will require frequent battery replacements; performance and runtime will vary by battery quality and usage patterns. Some users report excellent durability and weather resistance, while others have experienced earlier-than-expected failures, so occasional testing before events is recommended.

Fast battery drain — disappointing
They look nice at first, but they burn through batteries quickly. After about 3 weeks at 1–2 hours per day the strands started dimming. I replaced batteries multiple times and saw the same drop in brightness across strands. Over months you’ll spend a lot on batteries; I regret this purchase.

Great for events without power
These are handy for decorating where there’s no outlet — I’d avoid them as a permanent tree solution tied to mains. The battery box is sealed for weather so rain or snow isn’t a worry. Perfect for occasional backyard bonfires or celebrations but not a daily replacement for hardwired lights.

Lovely purple hue, worked as expected
I bought these for front porch Halloween décor but didn’t hang them this year. I tested both strands and the remote — everything powered up and functioned without issue. The purple color is exactly what I wanted, and I’ll likely use them on my Nightmare Before Christmas tree if I don’t put them out next Halloween.

Sturdy, kid-friendly camping lights
We switched from EL-wire to these and liked that there’s no humming. The globes don’t get hot and aren’t fragile like glass bulbs, which matters with kids around. There are multiple patterns but we mostly used a steady glow. A single set lasted four nights on one set of batteries; our EL-wire needed fresh batteries nightly.

One strand failed after few uses
I liked these initially and bought two strands. After two uses, one strand stopped working on the third try. Replacing batteries didn’t fix it. I’m disappointed and uncertain whether the other strand will hold up.

Adorable accent lights, limited illumination
One box contains two strands. I strung one halfway across my 10x10 tent; it didn’t light the entire booth but drew attention to my space. The photo was taken late at night and most light came from a desk lamp, not the string. I haven’t used the remote; the battery pack has a button and lets you cycle modes manually.
