Product description
What you get: a 24-piece wooden play set arranged in a portable tray with a built-in handle. The collection includes several wooden nails and screws, matching nuts and washers, planks with pre-drilled holes for assembly, plus child-size tools — a hammer, a flat-head screwdriver and a small wrench — sized for preschool hands.
Materials and build: all components are crafted from solid wood and finished in vivid, kid-friendly paints. The boards and fasteners are thick enough for repeated play, and the tools are lightweight so toddlers can manipulate them without strain. The carry tray doubles as a storage box so pieces are easy to pack up after use.
How it’s used: youngsters can hammer pegs into a board, thread screws into holes, twist nuts onto bolts, and experiment with taking pieces apart and reassembling them. These actions support hand-eye coordination, dexterity, counting and basic problem solving. The set is recommended for preschool-aged children who are supervised while handling small parts, and makes a portable option for play at home or on the go.
Pros
- Sturdy wooden construction with vivid paint
- Complete 24-piece set including tools and fasteners
- Encourages fine motor skills and imaginative play
Cons
- Small parts can be misplaced or present a supervision need
- Screw grooves can be fiddly for tiny hands
- No expansion packs or extra themed sets available
VerdictThis compact wooden toolkit delivers durable, screen-free play with realistic tools sized for little hands. The 24-piece set includes nails, screws, nuts, bolts, a hammer, wrench and screwdriver along with slotted boards to assemble — all made of painted hardwood and packaged in a carrying tray with a handle. It promotes fine motor development, counting, color ID and logical thinking. Small parts

A welcome addition to our toy box
My daughter is obsessed with this kit. Although often marketed toward boys, she has a blast pretending to fix things around the house. The pieces are sturdy, fit nicely into the case for tidy storage, and are perfectly sized for small hands. Simple, well thought out, and engaging for open-ended play.

Nice toy for little kids
Bought this as a gift for my grandchild — he uses it often and still enjoys it a year later. The build quality is solid and it’s held up well.

Great for my two year old
These pieces have kept my two-year-old busy for long stretches. The set is light enough to carry around and he likes to ‘help’ when dad is in the garage. Small pieces can go missing, but replacements aren’t hard to manage. They wipe clean easily and, for my child who mouths objects, they feel safe.

I bought this for my three-year-old grandson and he absolutely loves it. He plays with it every day after preschool, and I’m glad I picked it up.

Great toy, but now everything is a nail
This set nails the concept with solid construction and toddler-friendly design. The downside is it inspires constant hammering — we’ve had many reminders about where it’s appropriate to bang. My child is slightly under the recommended age and finds the screws challenging, but I’ve seen steady improvement. I appreciate the independent play it encourages and that it needs no batteries.

Quality craftsmanship and endless play
This toolbox quickly became a favorite. The woodwork is solid and details are well considered, giving it a realistic feel that kids love to imitate. The range of tools and fasteners sparks creativity and encourages fine motor and problem-solving skills. It’s durable and holds up to regular play — a toy that offers both entertainment and developmental benefits.

Very well made toy
This set is nicely manufactured and helps children mimic mechanical gestures while training coordination. The wooden tray makes it easy to carry the pieces from place to place and keep everything organized.

Excellent quality
Vivid colors and excellent workmanship — exactly what I expected from the photos. Even though my daughter is only 18 months, she was excited by the packaging and instantly loved the hammer and screwdriver.

Great fun for my little builder!
My 20-month-old really enjoys this. The hammer is his go-to. The set stays interesting because there are multiple ways to play: hammer pegs into the board, screw pieces together, remove pegs with the hammer’s edge, or use the wrench and driver to twist washers. Pros: improves dexterity, encourages problem solving and imaginative mimicry, and the bright colors are unisex. It’s made from durable wood and everything stores in the box. Cons: I wish there were compatible expansion kits and the screw grooves can make it tricky to keep the driver steady.

Motor skills toolkit
I picked this up for my son just before his second birthday because he loves watching us work. Although he’s under the suggested age, he started exploring right away and steadily improved at using the hammer and screwdriver. He enjoys building with us and now prefers his own tools instead of ours. The wooden pieces react to humidity, so sometimes pegs are stiffer to remove, but we haven’t run into durability problems. Because we play together he’s supervised — I can see how an unsupervised toddler could get hurt. He flits between toys every 10–15 minutes, so it isn’t a constant obsession, but he definitely engages with it.
