Product description
What’s included
A bulk pack of 125 heavy-duty disposable dinner plates, each about 9 inches in diameter, intended for single-use meals and events.
Materials and compostability
The plates are molded from sugarcane bagasse, a fast-regenerating agricultural byproduct rather than tree pulp. They carry BPI-certified compostable claims and are designed to begin breaking down in 30–45 days and to fully degrade in soil within around 90 days under composting conditions.
Performance and handling
Built to support hot or cold foods without bending, these plates are microwave-safe and suitable for refrigerator storage. Their construction resists light oils and incidental soaking so typical picnic, BBQ, or buffet fare won’t easily seep through.
Health and environmental considerations
Manufactured without PFAS and BPA, the plates focus on reducing chemical exposure while offering a compostable alternative to traditional disposable dinnerware.
Typical uses
Recommended for outdoor gatherings, holidays, weddings, birthday parties, daily meals, and other events where ease of cleanup and reduced landfill impact are priorities.
Pros
- Made from renewable sugarcane bagasse
- Handles hot and cold foods without sagging
- PFAS- and BPA-free
Cons
- Some buyers report missing certification markings
- Not suited for very greasy, prolonged contact
- Single-use by design
VerdictThese 9-inch compostable paper plates combine strong, single-use convenience with eco-friendly materials. Made from sugarcane bagasse and certified compostable, they handle hot and cold dishes without sagging, resist light oils and moisture, and are safe for microwave and refrigeration. Ideal for gatherings and routine use, though some buyers have noted inconsistencies in labeling.

Useful and leak-resistant
Nice product that reduces dishwashing. We even use them for feeding our cat—no leaks with moist food.

Certification label appeared missing
I needed BPI-certified plates for an event, but neither the plates nor the box were stamped as described. The product may be certified, but the marking wasn’t present.

Dependable, no-leak everyday plates
These compostable plates held up well—no oil seeped through for the same meal that leaked on another brand I tried. The 9" size fits a sandwich plus sides, and I can cut on them without worry. They’re sturdy, made from sugarcane, and compost when finished.

Strong and reliable
I like these plates a lot. They’re sturdy enough for everything I’ve served and I’d purchase them again.

Thick stock — no doubling needed
These are noticeably thicker than flimsy disposables that must be stacked. The 9" diameter suits my needs and gives good value.

Good quality despite size mix-up
I received a different size than expected but kept them because they’re sturdy and useful. Size works for cake slices at parties and construction is solid.
