Product description
This pack contains six polyethylene drop cloths, each measuring 12 by 9 feet (108 square feet of coverage per sheet). The material is a lightweight plastic film designed to block paint splatters, dust, dirt and moisture. Because the sheets are large, they can drape over sofas, mattresses, tables, floors, carpets, ceilings, wardrobes and even car surfaces to keep them clean during work.
The sheeting unfolds and spreads rapidly, so you can cover a room or individual pieces of furniture in moments. It’s intended as a disposable solution: the thin plastic is sturdy enough for protection during painting or light renovation, but it’s not the same as a heavy reusable tarp. The surface is waterproof and resists dust, helping preserve finishes while you work.
Use cases include interior painting, drywall repairs, furniture protection during moves, temporary rainproof covers for outdoor items, and shielding windows or cars during maintenance. The sheets are easy to tape down or stake in place for more secure coverage. After the job, they fold up and can be discarded, eliminating the need to wash and store bulky fabric drop cloths.
Pros
- Extensive coverage per sheet (12 x 9 ft)
- Waterproof and dust-resistant
- Lightweight and quick to deploy
Cons
- Single-use, not suited for repeated heavy-duty use
- Can be slippery on smooth floors
- Thin material may struggle with sharp or heavy objects
VerdictThese 12 x 9 ft plastic sheets deliver broad, temporary protection for painting and renovation tasks. Each sheet is thin but reasonably tear-resistant, waterproof and quick to unfurl, making setup and cleanup fast. They’re intended as single-use, disposable covers rather than long-term tarps, so they work best when you need lightweight, economical coverage over large surfaces. Ideal for indoor pro

Painter-friendly and versatile
Good material that folds and drapes easily, lightweight and covers a large area. Low odor and versatile for many tasks. For long-term outdoor storage you’ll still want a heavier tarp, but these are excellent for painters.

Did exactly what I needed
I assumed a heavier gauge but received 0.5 mil sheets — they were thin yet surprisingly tough. Used all six to contain drywall dust; tape adhered well to the edges. Perfect for single-use dust control and I’d purchase them again.

Works great as temporary dust covers
Knew they’d be thin and used them for messy repairs — perfect for shielding items from dust and debris. Threw them out afterward but they served their purpose.

Unfolding can be annoying
Affordable and protective, but the sheets are awkward to unfold at first. Once open they do the job.

A touch flimsy but functional
They feel a little flimsy to the touch, yet they provided the protection I needed for a short job. Good for one-time use.

Good product, value could be better
Product performs well, but overall value isn’t ideal — it can end up being a bit costly for disposable use.

Solid for painting and small DIY jobs
I bought the six sheets for painting and light DIY, and they performed well. Large enough to cover floors and furniture, thin but surprisingly resilient — no ripping during setup. They kept paint, dust and water away from surfaces and open quickly for fast use. Lightweight for easy cleanup: roll and toss after the job. Note they’re disposable and a bit slick on tile, but they matched what I needed.

Saved my garage gym from splatter
Used these to protect my garage gym while painting — covered the floor and draped over racks and the treadmill. They unfolded and taped up easily, stayed intact when I moved gear, and prevented any paint seepage. Lightweight and versatile for hanging as curtains or floor cover. Not reusable for repeated projects, but very handy for a single overhaul.
