Product description
Versatile multi-use edging tool: Designed for a range of landscaping chores, this half-moon edger is suited to defining sidewalks and driveways, trimming grass along flower beds, digging shallow trenches and assisting with plant transplanting. It aims to produce neat, even borders for a finished landscape appearance.
Sharp 23-tooth blade: The edger is fitted with a 23-tooth saw-style blade that slices through turf, soil and small roots. The blade receives a spray-coated finish to help resist rust and corrosion and maintain cutting performance over time.
Comfort-focused handle and footrest: A 40-inch T-handle provides reach and leverage, while a wide footrest offers a stable platform to apply downward force. The handle is wrapped in TPE+PP for a cushioned, non-slip grip to reduce hand fatigue and improve control during repeated use.
Durable steel construction: Built from heavy-gauge steel with a black sprayed finish, the tool is intended for repeated garden use and resists moisture and surface corrosion. The half-moon edging plate and support components are reinforced for routine landscaping tasks.
Accessories and assembly: The edger ships with all necessary fasteners and basic tools for quick setup: 4 nuts, 4 bolts, 4 flat washers, one 10mm spanner and one 10mm combination wrench. Most users can assemble and start using it within minutes.

Quality construction
Simple and well constructed. Feels reliable and performs as expected.

Cuts clean but has practical drawbacks
Produces sharp, straight edges and the foot placement provides solid downward force. However, it won’t penetrate tough crabgrass without pre-cutting, the handle’s middle section is hollow which raises bending concerns, and the assembly bolts running through the handle could pinch fingers.

Surprised at how well it cuts hard soil
I was doubtful because my yard has rocky, compacted soil and old roots, but it produced a neat edge more easily than I expected. It requires assembly, but once built it seems robust enough to last.

Broke at the weld on day one
Worked perfectly until the weld between the shaft and the half-moon support failed on the first day. I returned it right away.

Good performance until impact damage
Worked well for several uses, but if your soil has clay or lots of rocks it may not hold up. After striking a rock it bent, and a later hit on a root caused it to snap.

Makes sod cutting much faster
Using it to cut sod has been a big time-saver. The steel is sturdy without being overly heavy, and the non-slip stepping surface handles my weight without slipping.

Effective but physically demanding
Easy to assemble and it does the job. Expect a workout — after about half an hour you’ll feel it. If you have health concerns or prefer less exertion, consider a powered alternative.

Solid build, easy to put together
Well-made with sturdy components and a firm feel. The broad foot ledge makes it simple to press into the ground, and the rocking motion slices through roots and dense plants easily. Assembly fit was straightforward without fiddly adjustments, and overall it feels like a thoughtfully manufactured tool.
