Product description
Versatile use: This pack contains two identical feeders intended for rabbits, guinea pigs, squirrels and other similarly sized small animals. Having two makes cleaning and swapping simple for multi-pet homes.
Protection and drainage: Each feeder has a hinged top lid that shields feed from dust and debris. The lower section is fitted with a mesh base that allows rainwater to escape quickly, helping to keep pellets dry.
Capacity and size: The hopper measures 7.09 x 6.69 x 4.72 inches (18 x 17 x 12 cm) and will hold roughly up to 2 pounds of dry feed, offering a compact yet ample supply without taking excessive cage space.
Sturdy metal construction: Made from metal to resist rust and weathering, the design stands up better to chewing and general wear than thin plastic alternatives, extending service life in both indoor and sheltered outdoor conditions.
Mounting options: Each unit includes two hooks on the sides so it can be hung inside or on the outside of a cage. If you prefer floor placement, fold down the support rod on the back and the feeder will sit upright on flat surfaces.
Pros
- Comes as a two-piece set for rotation and cleaning
- Metal build resists rust and chewing
- Mesh bottom drains rain to protect feed
Cons
- Some users report fragile attachment arms
- Pellet flow may be inconsistent with certain shapes
- Hopper is narrower than some competing models
VerdictThese metal feeders offer a straightforward, durable way to store and dispense pellets for small animals. The set includes two identical units so you can rotate one for cleaning or use both in multi-pet setups. They stand up well to outdoor exposure thanks to the rust-resistant metal and protect feed with a top lid while the mesh bottom keeps rain from pooling. Some users report dispensing issues

Perfect for our rabbits
Fits our bunnies well. Holds the claimed amount and stores both regular pellets and treat pellets without spillover.

Works for one, not the other
One of my rabbits uses it fine, but the second bunny keeps popping the screws out and dislodging the unit.

Disappointing flow and narrow shape
Pellets don’t flow easily into the bowl and the hopper is slimmer than other feeders I’ve tried.

Attachment broke during installation
One of the mounting arms snapped while I was fitting it. The bottom holes are larger than I expected, so more pellets spill out than with other feeders. I was also bottle-feeding five newborn cottontails and needed every bit of food saved. Orphaned kits miss out on cecotropes from their mother that help seed a healthy gut; when you have to bottle-feed, they don’t get that natural digestive boost. In those cases powdered probiotics can be used carefully as a substitute, but you still want a feeder that minimizes waste.

Handy and functional
Performs as expected and has been a convenient feeder for our rabbit.

Dispensing is inconsistent
Good value, but pellets often don't drop to the lower tray on their own. I have to push the food down so my rabbit can eat whenever refilling.
