Product description
This two-pack of multi-use anchor sacks is built from thick PVC with welded seams, designed to be used three ways: filled with sand as a water anchor, rolled closed to act as a flotation marker, or used empty as a dry bag for clothing and gear. Each compression-style bag seals with a roll-top closure and can carry towels, phones in cases, flashlights, and other small items when closed.
The set ships with a 12-foot braided rope and two rustproof stainless steel clips to secure the sacks to craft or floats. A reinforced bottom strap is provided to make emptying sand faster and easier. Rated to hold about 50 pounds of sand, the anchors are intended to keep jet skis, paddleboards, rafts, and floating pads from drifting in moderate conditions.
Built in high-visibility yellow with contrasting red rope, the sacks are easy to spot on the water. Their PVC construction resists punctures and tears during routine beach and lake use; however, users should inspect hardware and seams before heavy-duty applications and avoid rough surf or heavy dragging over sharp rocks.
Pros
- Two versatile uses: anchor or dry bag
- Welded PVC construction with bright colors
- Comes with rope, stainless clips and dump strap
Cons
- Some reports of seam or hardware failure
- Plastic buckles or fittings can be flimsy
- Not ideal for heavy surf or constant rough use
VerdictA versatile, budget-friendly pair of sand anchor bags that serve as anchors or dry storage. Durable welded PVC and included hardware work well for calm lakes and rivers, but some users report hardware or seam failures in harsher conditions. Good for casual boating and beach use when used cautiously.

Seams failed quickly
They looked ideal for anchoring a large float in calm Gulf waters, but the fabric tore after one use. Repairs didn’t hold and they failed again after a couple more outings.

Handy with our PWC
Perfect for pulling up to a gravel bar and leaving the skis while we swam. They’re larger than necessary — half the size would suffice — but they work and empty quickly.

Bonne découverte
Très léger à transporter et petit une fois roulé. Plastique solide, peut contenir des cailloux sans problème.

Looks good but tore
Attractive and functional at first, but ripped during initial use. No instructions included. Returning due to failure during a short outing.

Compact and reliable
Pack small, deploy fast. Anchored floats and tubes for a week without shifting. At the end, we pulled them up, emptied, rolled and stowed with no fuss.

Anchors well, watch the fittings
They hold sand fine and anchor well, but the plastic buckles felt cheap and one snapped quickly. I improvised a fix and now handle them more gently.

Held the party pad
Anchored a floating pad in the river with zero movement and also secured a chain of floats carrying five adults. Solid performance — would recommend.

Did the job, but handle with care
Kept our six-person tube steady at the lake. One bag split after filling—lift only by the reinforced bottom, not by the hardware.

Perfect for kids’ play area
We use them to anchor floating mats so the kids can play safely on the lake with minimal drift.

Simple and effective
Very easy to operate: we filled with dry sand, added a splash of water, sealed and no leaks. Material feels thick. Found a stray wire near a clip and wrapped it temporarily with tape.

Not ocean-proof
One bag failed on first use at the beach and was lost. A clasp broke on another, so I wouldn’t trust these in open ocean and stronger waves.

Works if folded right
If not rolled correctly water seeps in and turns sand to sludge, which made dumping harder but added weight. Bought additional sacks to secure my inflatable island; folding properly is key.
