Product description
The pen combines an activated carbon polishing tip and a delicate filament brush in a slim, double-ended tool. The carbon head is formed from activated carbon powder to lift fingerprints, oils, and smears while being gentle on optical coatings.
One end houses a soft, fine-filament brush that removes dust, grit, and debris from lens surfaces, filter rims, zoom rings, and viewfinder edges. The other end is the polishing tip, designed to reach the curved glass of lenses and smooth away oily marks without abrasion.
A twist mechanism reveals the carbon tip, and the body includes a magnetic chamber that lets you refill carbon powder and swap heads without discarding the whole pen. The magnetic system is intended to simplify maintenance and extend usable life.
The pen is lightweight and compact for travel—slim enough to slip into a pocket or camera bag. It’s double-ended for brushing or polishing on the go and includes two replacement carbon tips in the package.
For ongoing performance and lens protection, the manufacturer suggests swapping the carbon tip about every two months or whenever it appears contaminated. Regular re-wetting of the carbon reservoir is recommended to avoid streaking during use.
Pros
- Activated carbon tip removes oils and smudges
- Soft filament brush safely lifts dust
- Includes two spare carbon tips for extended use
Cons
- Magnetic parts can be prone to loosening
- Replacement tips may detach if jostled
- Brush cap is small and can come off easily
VerdictA compact, travel-ready lens pen that polishes oily smudges with activated carbon and sweeps away dust with a fine filament brush. It’s convenient and refillable, but magnetic parts may need careful handling. Good choice for photographers who want a lightweight, replaceable-tip cleaner for on-the-go maintenance.

Handy for outdoor photographers
The brush feels gentle and the carbon tip cleans well. Comfortable pen size and comes with replacement heads. Solid build quality.

Effective cleaner if you mind the caps
Very convenient and cleans well. The brush lid could cling better, so I watch it closely. The residue some users mention is the cleaning agent — use the brush to remove it and re-dip the tip into the reservoir occasionally to keep it wet and avoid streaks.

Nice concept but fiddly in practice
The tool itself is a good idea, but the brush cap is tiny and comes off too easily. The cleaning tip has a habit of detaching in my bag, and the magnets aren’t strong enough to keep everything together. After a month it became more trouble than help.

Clever refillable idea, but tip retention needs work
I appreciate being able to swap tips instead of tossing the whole pen. Replacement heads are handy and the brush has a cap. However, the tip doesn’t always hold tight — it has popped off while cleaning and when packed in a bag.

Small tool, big impact on travel shoots
A brilliant little cleaner for lenses. After shooting across roughly 70 countries in all kinds of weather, this pen removed smudges and grit far better than a cloth alone. It conforms to the curved glass and gets into places my fingers and solution can’t. I liked it enough to buy another.
