Rescue handle actually saved him
This vest saved our dog on a fishing trip. He fell into the lake while tied at the dock; I couldn’t lift him out. He paddled under the dock to my husband who used the vest’s handle to pull our 70 lb dog into the boat. The vest kept him afloat and made the rescue possible.

Perfect for tiny chihuahuas
We bought three of these for our chihuahuas. They slip on quickly so you actually use them more. The handle makes it easy to move them from cart to boat and to haul them from the water. XS fit our 11 lb, 8 lb and 7 lb pups; small was too loose. Straps adjusted well.

Supports my large, older lab
My nearly 11-year-old, 96 lb lab with spinal arthritis stays afloat comfortably in this vest. The length on his back lets him sit while wearing it and there’s enough buoyancy to support him in water. It’s straightforward to put on and I’d recommend it for senior dogs with mobility issues.

Nice fit and performs well
Very pleased with this vest — it looks good and functions as expected. My dog is the strongest swimmer of three huskies, so I bought a vest to let her swim longer. She had a great time and there was no chafing when the fabric got wet. I measured her chest (34") and neck (18") which put her in the large; medium would have been too small. She weighs 54 lbs.

X-Small works for tiny chest
Absolutely ideal for my 10 lb dog — not bulky at all. Her chest measures 17 inches and the x-small fits perfectly.

Sturdy build and vivid colors
Better than expected for the value. We have two pups (11.5 lb aussiedoodle and 25 lb bernedoodle) and both fit well after measuring. Buckles feel solid and there’s plenty of room around the belly. Colors are very vibrant.

Solid jacket but straps can slip
Arrived on time and the material feels good. My only gripe is the straps tend to loosen — they’re a bit shiny and can slip on occasion.

Good flotation for active dogs
Deep-chested GSP (60 lb) in size L and a sturdier Border Collie (50 lb) in L both wear this well. Works best for dogs that can already swim but need visibility and extra support for long days. The high-visibility color helped in busy waters and the jacket gives useful lift for a dog with weakened hind legs. It’s lighter and feels more natural than some bulkier jackets. Note: it doesn’t float quite like heavy foam-only vests.
