Doesn’t help every cat
No effect on my cat; feels like an overpriced catnip substitute. If your cat responds to similar scents it might work, otherwise results will vary.

Got my kitten using the box
I tried this with a litter of kittens after one refused the box. After sprinkling it on the usual litter she used the box within hours and has kept using it. I’m happy it’s natural and I can’t smell anything, but the kittens were definitely interested.

Made things worse for my elderly cat
My 19-year-old was peeing around the room about half the time. I tried this and now he won’t pee in the box at all and has started pooping outside it. The dark granules also make the litter look dirty. It did not help our situation.

Helped transition to a new automatic box
I switched to an automated litter device and one of my cats wouldn’t use it. After sprinkling this attractant he investigated and within two days started using the new unit. Both cats now use it exclusively. I’m allergic to scented products and didn’t notice any strong smell, so this worked well for us.

Helped a formerly outdoor, stubborn senior
We adopted an older male with a lifetime of bad indoor habits and lots of vet visits. After adding a little to his box and introducing him to it, he completely turned around—now reliably uses the box for both urine and stool. Ingredients aren’t fully disclosed, but it’s corn-based and it finally solved his issues.
