Product description
What’s included: one tactical drawstring water bottle pouch designed to mount to MOLLE/PALS webbing. The pouch is supplied as a single unit intended to attach quickly to compatible gear.
Materials and build: the body is made from 1000D nylon for long-term wear resistance, combined with a robust internal lining. The top closes with a corded drawstring to secure a bottle in place, while the bottom features a mesh insert that allows drainage and airflow so water won’t collect at the base.
Size and fit: the pouch has an outer diameter of 3.55 inches and a height of 9.45 inches. That sizing works well for many standard water bottles and is a comfortable fit for a 0.5 liter Smartwater bottle. Taller or wider containers may fit depending on shape, and the drawstring provides additional retention for varied sizes.
How to use: weave the integrated straps into your pack or vest MOLLE rows and fasten. The pouch sits upright and can be cinched with the drawcord to prevent bouncing. For heavier or taller bottles you can add reinforcement to the mounting straps to limit sag or rotation while walking or jogging.
Performance notes: the mesh base eases drainage and helps keep the interior dry, while the tough nylon exterior stands up to abrasion. It’s versatile for everyday carry, outdoor activities, and bike mounting where quick access to a drink is needed.
Pros
- Durable 1000D nylon construction
- Ventilated mesh bottom prevents pooling
- Easy MOLLE attachment and secure drawstring
Cons
- Tighter fit with some wide-mouth bottles
- Not padded, so fragile bottles may bang
- May need extra reinforcement for heavy loads
VerdictThis rugged drawstring pouch offers a practical, low-profile way to carry hydration on MOLLE-equipped packs, belts, or rigs. Constructed from heavy-duty 1000D nylon with a quality inner lining and a ventilated mesh base, it keeps bottles secure and prevents pooled water. The 3.55 inch diameter and 9.45 inch height accommodate many standard bottles — including 0.5 L Smartwater — and the drawstring

Handy for backpacks
Got these to mount on my pack and they’ve been very useful. The pouch expands to fit many cups and bottles, the drawcord secures different sizes, and they’re lightweight and simple to remove.

Keeps hands free on long hikes
Simple and effective — makes it easy to carry water without holding it while hiking long distances.

Daily use on my adventure bike
Exceeded expectations mounted on my bike—holds both big and small bottles. Mine developed a small hole at the bottom after heavy daily use, but considering how often I use them I’m satisfied.

Worth the investment — solid build
Very well made and feels rugged. Attaches to 511-style MOLLE without issue. The height keeps larger bottles like Owala from slipping out even when the drawstring isn’t cinched.

Versatile, continues to hold up
Still going strong after regular use. I carry water, a Contigo mug, cans, or tools. The webbing lets me tuck a screwdriver or pens through, though a Nalgene can be snug.

Durable and functional, a bit tight for some bottles
Sturdy material and clean stitching make this easy to mount and dependable on the trail. The drawstring keeps bottles from bouncing. Standard Nalgene bottles fit but slide in and out a little snug when brand new.

Very good for inserting a thermos or other bottle; built sturdily and suitable for multiple uses.
