Product description
This product is supplied as an 8-ounce container of ready-to-use granules intended for use on containerized ornamental plants. The formulation is low-odor and comes ready to apply straight from the bottle—no measuring or mixing required.
The granules are absorbed by a plant’s root system and translocated through stems and leaves, providing internal protection against insects that feed on plant tissues or ingest sap. Labeled control extends up to eight weeks after each application and the systemic activity is not removed by routine watering.
Target pests listed include fungus gnats, aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, scale, and similar feeding insects; the product acts when pests consume treated plant material. It is not registered for use on edible crops such as herbs, vegetables, or fruit-bearing plants.
To apply, distribute granules uniformly across the surface of the potting mix, work them lightly into the top layer of soil, then water thoroughly to move the active ingredient into the root zone. Reapply as needed at intervals of about eight weeks. Always follow the full label directions and safety guidance printed on the product.
Pros
- Ready-to-use granules, simple application
- Provides internal (systemic) protection for up to 8 weeks
- Controls a range of common plant-feeding insects
Cons
- Not approved for edible plants
- Systemic ingredient raises environmental concerns for some
- Some users report incomplete elimination of infestations
VerdictA straightforward systemic granular treatment that reduces common sap- and soil-feeding pests for up to eight weeks per application. Easy to use on decorative potted plants: sprinkle, incorporate into the topsoil, and water. It provides consistent control of feeding insects like fungus gnats, aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, and scale, but is not appropriate for herbs, vegetables, or fruiting plants

Cleared a severe whitefly problem
Completely removed a bad whitefly infestation and two months later the plants were still clear. Remember it shouldn’t be used on food crops since it remains in plant tissues.

Did the job on mealybugs after other methods failed
Mealybugs hid deep in the plant and resisted soil changes and topicals. After three applications these pests were gone. Quarantine treated plants until you confirm complete eradication to prevent spread.

A must-have for indoor plant care
If you keep plants inside, this is a go-to for fungus gnats. A light sprinkle twice a year has kept mine gnat-free. Note there’s a dusty feel when applying, so take care.

Solved mysterious little flies quickly
Small flies showed up after adding a new plant; a single treatment cleared them up and it was very simple to apply. I’ll keep using this for pest control.

Stops gnats and aphids, but bottle felt short
Easy to use and effective against fungus gnats and aphids. I didn’t receive as much product as I expected — likely settling — so the container seemed underfilled compared with what I thought I paid for.

Surprising, rapid results for gnats
I was skeptical, but after treating a heavy gnat problem I noticed a dramatic drop in activity the next day. Sticky traps went from full every few days to almost empty. Treat all plants to be cautious.

Effective, though packaging could be smaller
Worked reliably for me, but the container is larger than necessary and takes up shelf space. The granules themselves are small and easy to apply; it provides a helpful preventive layer against pests.

Reduced gnats but incomplete; bee-impact concern
This product cut down fungus gnats dramatically but didn’t remove them entirely. I worry about the systemic ingredient’s potential harm to pollinators if treated flowering plants are moved outdoors. For that reason I downgraded my rating.
