Static Grass 2mm (Dark Green) for Model Scenery

Product description

This product is a 2mm Dark Green static grass meant for scenic modeling. The package contains the loose synthetic fibers (static grass) in a single color and size: 2mm length. It’s designed as part of a coordinated Field System so different colors and textures can be mixed for seasonal and landscape variety.

The fibers are made from a durable synthetic material that will stand upright when applied with a static applicator such as the Static King device. Application is simple: spread adhesive where you want grass, sprinkle or apply the fibers, and use a static charger to make the strands stand vertically for a lifelike grassy effect.

Included with each product are straightforward instructions explaining recommended glues, application tips and how to combine shades for more natural results. Multiple colors and fiber lengths are available across the range so you can layer or blend to represent different grasses, seasons and field types.

Typical uses include modeling meadows, fields, lawns, pastures and tall grassy patches on dioramas, model railroads and wargame boards. For best results, pair the fibers with a static applicator and a suitable adhesive; small areas can be covered quickly, while larger surfaces require more material.

Pros

  • Realistic upright texture when charged
  • Accurate 2mm height for short grass
  • Easy to blend with other colors

Cons

  • Needs a static applicator to stand upright
  • Coverage can require a lot of material
  • Smaller package than some alternatives

VerdictThis 2mm dark green static grass provides convincingly upright fibers and a natural color for short-grass scenes when used with a static applicator. It’s easy to blend with other shades from the same system and comes with simple instructions for application. Expect to use substantial material to cover larger areas, but the texture and color make it a dependable option for dioramas, model railways
