Product description
Includes one multicolored cheese knife made from rigid plastic. The tool is a single molded piece, shaped to slice and lift small portions without food sticking to the edge.
Measured at approximately 8.25 inches (21 cm) in length, the knife is compact enough for serving from platters and small enough for storage in a utensil drawer. The plastic construction makes it lightweight and resistant to corrosion compared with metal blades.
Designed for use with soft cheeses, spreads, pâté, butter, boiled eggs, cakes and similar sticky or soft foods, the angled profile helps keep slices on the plate rather than clinging to the knife. To preserve the shape and avoid deforming the tip, hand washing is recommended rather than aggressive dishwasher cycles.
Pros
- Prevents soft foods from sticking to the blade
- Lightweight and easy to handle
- Compact 8.25 in (21 cm) size for serving
Cons
- Less durable than metal knives
- Tip can bend if treated roughly
- Not suitable for very hard cheeses
VerdictThis lightweight, 8.25-inch hard-plastic knife excels at cutting and serving soft or sticky foods because its material reduces cling. It’s convenient for casual cheese boards and small kitchen tasks; however, it isn’t as sturdy as metal knives and benefits from gentle handling and hand washing to avoid bending or breakage.

Excellent for slicing cheese
Very easy to use and slices cheese cleanly. I liked it enough to buy a second for our weekend cabin.

Loved it enough to gift more
A friend gave me one, and I liked it so much I bought two additional ones as presents. It outperforms many traditional knives for sticky cheeses; my only gripe is that it’s a bit small.

Good replacement but limited use
A solid replacement for an older worn knife, though the tip showed wear when used to lift small squares from a stone counter. Not ideal for thick Brie or aged cheddar.

Started well, then failed
Replaced an older plastic model and initially it worked fine, but the handle eventually fractured. I’m likely to return to using a sturdy cutting board instead.

Broke too soon
It did the job at first but the base snapped and the knife became unusable. It lasted less than a year—around six months of regular use.

Surprisingly effective
Performs exactly as advertised and does it well. It looks fragile but handles holiday charcuterie without trouble. I’ve run it through the top rack a few times with no issues and would purchase another.

Good value option
I like this knife — it’s not on par with pricier designs, yet it performs adequately for everyday use. I’d buy it again.

Handy for cheese and hard‑boiled eggs
Picked one up on a creamery visit and it quickly became useful for everyday cheeses and cooked eggs. The plastic keeps slices from sticking. It’s listed as dishwasher-safe on the top rack by some users, but I had the tip bend the first time I washed it in the machine, so I prefer rinsing by hand and later bought a spare online.
