Durable alligator-style clamps provide a firm grip on battery posts, helping ensure a secure electrical connection while you restore power. The clamp insulation protects against accidental contact during hookup.
This kit includes a zippered carrying bag to keep everything together, a pair of cloth safety gloves to protect hands, and an iron wire brush for cleaning corrosion off battery terminals before connecting. Those extras help make jump-starting cleaner, safer and more reliable.

Built tough
Very robust and can handle rough treatment (thrown in a truck, occasional run-over, clamp misuse). The wire gauge and clamp attachments feel properly done. Good overall.

Fine for periodic roadside help and the cables work as advertised. I wouldn’t rely on them for constant, heavy daily use in a shop though.
