Product description
Included: one 18 x 18 inch non-stick pressing sheet.
Material and construction: a durable, heat-resistant fabric with a PTFE-like non-stick coating that resists adhesive transfer and allows iron heat to pass through. The material is thin enough for effective heat transfer yet robust for repeated use.
How to use: lay the sheet over the ironing surface or between your iron and project, position fusible pieces on the sheet, fold it over if desired, and press as normal. Any leaked adhesive adheres to the sheet rather than the iron or board and can be wiped or rolled off with a fingertip. The sheet’s translucency helps you see placement of small pieces like appliqué, quilt blocks, or fabric for cards.
Pros
- Protects iron and ironing surface from adhesive
- Translucent for accurate placement
- Heat transfers effectively through the material
Cons
- May be smaller than older or alternative sheets
- Can collect adhesive that requires manual removal
- Single sheet included — larger projects may need repositioning
VerdictThis 18 x 18 non-stick pressing sheet provides reliable protection from fusible web and adhesive build-up on irons and ironing boards. The PTFE-like surface lets heat through while preventing glue from bonding to your iron; any residue rolls off or peels away. Its transparency helps with precise placement of small pieces, and the 18-inch square suits many applique, quilting, and paper-craft projec

Keeps adhesive off iron and board
Perfect for appliqué — I place fusible pieces on the sheet, fold it over and press. Any leaked adhesive sticks to the sheet and rubs off with a finger.

Does the job for appliqué
Using it to bond appliqué pieces before moving them to quilt blocks. Nothing clings to the Teflon-like surface and the 18x18 size is handy.
