Product description
Contents and sizing: This package contains two curtain panels. Each panel measures 40 inches wide by 63 inches long; together they span 80 inches across at full coverage. Each panel is fitted with six silver-tone, anti-rust grommets with an inner diameter of 1.6 inches so they slide on most standard rods.
Light control: The fabric is engineered to cut visible light by varying amounts depending on color — darker hues approach a 95% reduction, mid tones average about 80% and very light shades reduce around 60%. A black yarn middle layer is woven into the fabric to improve opacity and privacy.
Material and construction: The panels are crafted from 225GSM polyester using a triple-layer weaving process. The inner black layer gives the curtains their light-blocking properties while both faces display the same finished color for a uniform look from inside or outside.
Energy-saving and applications: The thermal properties of the weave help keep interiors cooler in warm months and retain warmth in colder months, which can lead to energy savings of up to about 15% depending on installation and home. They are suitable for bedrooms, living rooms, patios, villas and offices where light control and insulation are desired.
Care instructions: These curtains are machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle. Tumble dry on low and avoid bleach. If needed, use a low-temperature iron or a steam cleaner to smooth creases after unpacking.
Pros
- Effective light reduction (especially in darker shades)
- Thermal insulation helps lower energy use
- Sturdy 225GSM fabric with rust-resistant grommets
Cons
- Lighter colors are not fully blackout
- Medium weight — not separately lined
- May need steaming to remove packaging creases
VerdictA solid, mid-weight blackout solution: durable 225GSM polyester panels with anti-rust grommets, effective light reduction depending on color, and useful thermal benefits. They won’t always create total blackout in pale colors, but they improve privacy, reduce glare and can lower heating/cooling demand when used across bedrooms, living areas or offices.

Consistent color and good coverage
Love the uniform coloring and easy hanging. I steamed the folds after unpacking. They cover windows well and block sunlight when needed. Medium thickness and unlined.

Good material, not absolute blackout
Solid fabric — not 100% blackout but they block most sun and reduce heat noticeably.

Nice curtains
They’re fairly thick but not thick enough to stop all sunlight. Still, I liked them a lot and want another set for the other bedroom.

Handy as a light-blocking layer
I used these behind my regular curtains to cover a damaged shade. A quick tumble smoothed wrinkles and they hung nicely. Not totally blackout alone, but together they block the light and hide the broken pieces well.

Great light reduction and finish
Very pleased — the fabric is soft, they block morning light well, and the room stays a bit cooler. The dark gray matched photos, hung easily, and two panels cover the window nicely.

Very good quality
Good build and fabric — they don’t block every bit of light, but overall it’s a very solid product.

Impressive for west-facing windows
These blocked intense afternoon sun and heat on my west-facing window all summer. I liked them enough to order more colors; they also look great.

Vibrant royal blue and full blackout when closed
The 72-inch royal blue panels are vivid and matched the listing. Paired with sheers they transformed the room. The fabric has weight, hems are clean, grommets slide smoothly, and closed they stopped all light in my test.

Rich maroon looks luxurious
The maroon tone is deep and refined. They cut sunlight and provide privacy. The material feels substantial, drapes well, and installation was straightforward.
