   Good budget CPL with one limitation

   K&F performs well for affordable filters and I’ve used this on various shoots. The only drawback is you can’t fit a lens cap while the filter is mounted.

   Professional polarizer that really performs

   I’ve owned several K&F items and this circular polarizer continues that trend. The aluminum mount feels solid and threads on smoothly. It removes glare from water, glass and cars while enriching color and contrast—skies get deeper and foliage looks livelier without obvious oversaturation. Image sharpness stayed intact, I saw no troubling color shifts, and the rotating ring has just the right resistance for quick adjustments.

   Essential for reducing shine when filming

   I film my painting process and this greatly reduces glare from wet paint. It also cuts reflections around water and glass, making it very useful for studio and daylight work where unwanted shine is a problem.

   Works well but watch for minor color shifts

   It polarizes effectively but isn’t perfectly color-neutral. Rotating the filter can introduce a faint blue or yellow cast depending on angle. Shifts are subtle and won’t bother most shooters, but color-critical work could be affected.

   Used this on lakes and mountain shoots and it exceeded expectations for reducing glare and enriching sky color. It takes practice to find the right rotation as lighting and angle change. Remember it reduces incoming light, so you’ll need to adjust shutter, aperture or ISO.

    Saved my lens in an accident

    I own two of these and use them on telephoto zooms for birds. They remove reflections and boost color nicely. Once I knocked a lens off a table and the filter shattered on impact but the lens was unharmed—honestly that alone makes me a repeat buyer.

    Overall a good filter, but removing it can be fiddly because the rotating ring is fairly narrow—big fingers may struggle. Slightly inconvenient, hence one star less.

    Great value and neutral color compared to others

    I replaced a scratched filter with this and was impressed. On a Canon 80D in Scotland it produced more neutral tones than my old Hoya, which had a bluish cast I had to correct. The polarizing effect is more natural and subtle, and I’m buying more for other lens sizes.
