Product description
What’s included: two wearable ankle weights that together total 10 pounds (two 5 lb units).
Construction and materials: each weight consists of a durable outer sleeve filled with dense granulated weight material and sewn into flat pouches for even distribution. The ends feature a wide hook-and-loop fastening system so the weight wraps and secures snugly around the limb.
Sizing and fit: the 5 lb version is designed to fit ankles up to about a 9-inch circumference; the larger 10 lb option fits up to about 11 inches. Adjustable straps let you tighten or loosen the wrap for comfort and stability without sliding the piece over the heel.
How to use: slip the weight around the ankle or wrist, fasten securely, and add resistance to walking, HIIT, Pilates, barre, dance, or basic strength and rehab movements. The low-profile, flat design aims to stay in place during motion and can be worn for walking or floor exercises to increase muscle engagement and calorie burn.
Pros
- Comfortable, low-profile design
- Evenly distributed sand-style fill
- Simple, adjustable strap closure
Cons
- Hook-and-loop fastener can weaken over time
- Not heavy enough for intense strength training
- May feel snug on smaller ankles
VerdictThese ankle weights are a convenient way to introduce extra resistance into daily movement and low-impact workouts. They’re comfortable, portable, and hold their shape, but some users report the hook-and-loop fastener losing grip over months of regular use. Good for toning and rehab work, less suitable for heavy strength training or long, high-impact runs.

Stays put on long walks
I’ve used them for walks between 1 and 2.5 miles several times and they remain secure the whole time. Very happy with the fit.

Highly recommend for quality
These feel higher quality than cheaper alternatives — sturdier fastener, better finish, and overall solid construction. They cost more but seem worth it for durability and fit.

Reliable for intense sessions
This is my second pair after four years; the original velcro eventually failed. These are thin, flat, and stay on during rigorous workouts.

Comfortable and travel-friendly
Easy to put on, comfortable, and high quality. They stay in place and give just enough resistance. I packed them for a trip without issue.

Well made but a bit large for thin ankles
The weights are well constructed, though the wrap is slightly bulky for very slim ankles. Among 2 kg options, these had the smallest circumference I could find. I hope the fastener stays secure during workouts.

Liked the color
Attractive color, practical and nicely presented.

A tight wrap
They perform their function but run a touch small. Hard to get around my ankles, though they stay put once on.

Exactly what I needed for recovery
Used these during knee-replacement rehab and they were comfortable on my ankles. Color is nice and they provide gentle resistance. I wouldn’t recommend them for running to protect the joints.

Light resistance that works for walks
I’ve worn these for a few weeks during my walks and they add noticeable resistance without bulk. They look sleek and feel like chunky bracelets so I don’t mind wearing them outside. The strap holds well and the build feels solid for casual use. Not suitable for heavy strength training and can get a bit tight after long wear, but great for daily toning.

Satisfied so far
So far I’m happy with them; time will tell how they hold up.

Good while new, fastener weakens
I’ve replaced these about three times because the hook-and-loop fastener wears out after six to nine months and they stop staying put. I’m a 5'8" woman, 140 lbs, with medium ankles and use them for squats, lunges, and leg lifts several times weekly. When the fastener works they’re comfortable—other models either dig into my ankles or risk leaking. A sturdier closure would make these much more durable.

Good design but seam issue after weeks
Initial build quality was great — wide hook-and-loop keeps the weights flat without sagging. I would’ve bought another set if available in different sizes. However, after five weeks one seam opened about 1/4" and the granules started leaking out. They’re still usable but are losing weight daily.
