I usually peel mine before dicing, but leaving the skin on is fine if you prefer more texture and fewer prep steps. Key to Success #4 – Put Potatoes in a Single Layer
Place the potatoes in the air fryer basket in a single, even layer. If you have more than will fit without crowding, cook them in two batches. Crowding traps steam and prevents crisping—spacing the pieces ensures they brown and cook evenly. Shake the basket or toss the potatoes every few minutes so all sides get crisp.

Ingredients
- 2-3 medium russet potatoes
- olive oil
- salt and pepper, to taste
