Product description
This unit is a direct-thermal shipping label printer designed to produce shipping, product, barcode and other adhesive labels. It accepts roll media loaded inside the chassis or fanfold stock fed from the rear. The media width range is from 0.75 inches up to 4.25 inches; printable length spans from 0.4 inches to 90 inches, so it supports everything from narrow barcode tags to long continuous labels.
Out of the box it ships with a complimentary BarTender UltraLite label design package for Windows, which covers typical text, graphics and barcode layouts and basic serialization needed for product, inventory and warehouse labels. The printer prints at up to 5 inches per second using direct thermal technology, so there is no ink, toner or ribbon to replace. It is compatible with Arkscan-branded labels as well as Zebra-compatible stock.
Connectivity is via USB and the printer is compatible with Windows, macOS, ChromeOS and Android devices for local printing. It integrates with common shipping and order platforms, payment and marketplace tools, shipping management software and carrier services so you can print 4x6, 4x6.75 and 4x8.25 label formats used by most carriers.
Support is provided by a U.S.-based technical team reachable by phone, live chat and remote access during extended business hours. The vendor offers assistance with setup and troubleshooting, and can guide users through software or driver issues to help keep operations running smoothly. The enclosure is built to be solid and workmanlike, intended for regular use in a packing station or back-office environment.
Pros
- Fast direct-thermal printing (5 in/s) with no ink or toner

Works perfectly for 4x6 labels
Handles our 4x6 shipping labels flawlessly and plays nicely with several shipping services and Shopify. Much cheaper and cleaner than printing on plain paper and taping labels to boxes.

Bought the wrong model but performs well
I mistakenly ordered this instead of the wireless variant, but it performs well. Support helped with configuration. Recommend the brand—just double-check model choice.

Plug-and-play reliability
Very pleased — essentially plug-and-play. No issues with this unit or another one I purchased last year. A dependable workhorse.

Impressive speed and print quality
Setup was surprisingly quick. First label printed with sharp clarity and good speed. It’s built sturdily rather than flimsy. Price is on the higher side, but durability could justify it.
