Greek Feta Yogurt Dip is tangy, creamy, and delightfully healthy. Serve with fresh crudités or crackers for a simple appetizer or snack.

This Greek-style feta yogurt dip was inspired by a version I first tried from a store. Curious about an authentic Greek feta dip, I asked at a local Greek market. The manager recommended a simple mixture of feta, garlic, olive oil, and oregano, and insisted that adding yogurt was unnecessary. He said yogurt is often used to stretch an expensive cheese.
I decided to experiment at home. To keep some texture, I pulsed the feta briefly in a food processor to crumble it, then reserved half of the crumbles. The remaining feta I blended with good-quality extra virgin olive oil, a splash of lemon juice, za’atar seasoning, and a pinch of black pepper. I chose to add non-fat Greek yogurt to create a creamier, lighter dip and to balance the richness of the feta.
This dip works well alongside hummus and muhammara, or simply paired with raw vegetables and crackers for an easy party platter.
