Product description
What you get:
This kit contains four large metal presser feet: a close-toe darning/free-motion foot, an open-toe version, a quilting foot, and a spring-action embroidery/free-motion foot. Each is built in a larger profile to accommodate a range of quilting and darning tasks.
Compatibility and fit:
Designed for low-shank domestic sewing machines, the feet fit many makes including Singer, Brother, Janome, Juki, Babylock, Elna, Kenmore, White, Necchi, Simplicity, Euro-Pro, New Home and other similar low-shank models. They attach in the same way as standard low-shank presser feet.
Materials and size:
All four pieces are metal, made to resist bending and provide a solid feel during stitching. The set is described as large size to help when working with bulky layers or loftier batting—and to improve visibility when following quilt designs.
How they’re used:
These feet are suitable for darning, free-motion quilting, decorative embroidery, and general quilting tasks. The open-front spring foot gives clear visibility for free-motion work; its spring keeps the fabric from lifting with the needle as each stitch forms, which reduces tension problems and thread breakage when using heavier or specialty threads. Use the open-toe for maximum sightline, the close-toe for tighter control, and the quilting foot for straight-line or patchwork stitching.
Pros
- Heavy-duty metal construction
- Wide compatibility with low-shank machines
- Open-front spring foot improves visibility and reduces thread breakage
Cons
- Not compatible with high-shank machines
- Some components may wear under heavy daily use
- A pressure rod can fail on a few units
VerdictThis metal four-piece set gives quilters and stitchers an affordable way to add free-motion and darning capability to most low-shank household machines. The large metal construction feels sturdy and the open-front spring foot provides much better sightlines and helps prevent fabric lifting and thread breaks when using heavier or specialty threads. Compatibility is broad across popular low-shank br

Nice selection for free-motion work
Good for free-motion quilting, darning and embroidery. A handy variety pack that also fit my antique Singer 66.

Good value but watch heavy use
Four pieces for the money made this worth trying. I used three of them in a free-motion class and they all worked with my Brother machine. I favored the open-toe, but the metal pressure rod at the top that moves the foot snapped after about 5 hours a week over four months. Maybe a one-off defect or simply the lifespan at this cost, but still a useful set.

Great quantity and quality
I was surprised at how pricey single feet are elsewhere. Getting four and decent quality was a win—very happy to have these and impressed with the quality overall.

They do the job
I reached out to Singer after finding the foot they sent wouldn’t allow free motion on my Quantum 9960 and the correct part was out of stock. I ordered this set and the two larger feet fit and performed flawlessly. One quilt finished and I’m very pleased.
