Truform 20-30 mmHg Thigh-High Compression Stockings, Closed Toe

Product description

What’s included: one pair of Truform medical support stockings (model 8868) in thigh-high length with closed toe.

Materials and construction: knitted from 80% nylon and 20% spandex, these unisex support hose use a durable, graduated-knit that provides 20–30 mmHg compression. The top features a silicone dot grip band (dot top) to reduce slipping. A defined knit heel improves overall fit, and a roomy comfort toe pocket protects sensitive toes while still supporting the forefoot. Product is latex-free and assembled in the USA.

Sizing and use: select size using the manufacturer’s measurement chart to ensure correct compression and fit. These are designed to be worn pulled to the thigh for circulation support during long periods of sitting or standing, travel, pregnancy, and after surgery. They are intended to help relieve swelling, varicose and spider veins, sore aching muscles, edema, and to reduce risk factors associated with DVT.

Pros

  • Medical-grade 20–30 mmHg graduated compression
  • Silicone dot top helps keep stockings in place
  • Reinforced heel and roomy toe for comfort

Cons

  • Can be difficult to put on
  • Length may be excessive for shorter people
  • Top band can leave light indentations

VerdictThese Truform thigh-highs deliver firm graduated support without feeling excessively bulky. The silicone-dot band helps them stay put on most legs, the reinforced heel and roomy toe improve comfort, and the closed toe gives full foot coverage. They are a solid option for anyone needing medical-grade 20–30 mmHg compression for swelling, varicose veins, or circulation support, though they can be snu

    Well designed for dress wear

Good compression stockings that look neat enough to wear under dressier outfits.

  2. MWG 5/5

    Solid construction and fit

High quality material, they stay in place and provide the support expected. At 6'2" they reached well up my thigh and performed reliably.

  3. Mrs. Shirlene 5/5

    Helped control post-op swelling

After my knee replacement these stockings reduced swelling noticeably. Firm yet comfortable and they didn’t roll down with activity.

  4. Proud Mom 5/5

Cool and supportive even in warm weather

Surprised they don't make me hot despite living in a warm climate. They’re tightest at the foot and ankle and a bit tricky to don, but relax as you pull them up. Very strong knit with no snags; I had to use nails to adjust but they held up perfectly. Buying extras.

  5. Donna in PA 5/5

Very pleased with the thigh-high option

I switched from knee-highs because my legs were swelling and the top of knee socks cut in. At 5'4" and 130 lb the large fits well — good compression, stays up, and feels sturdy without being too thick. Comfortable and easy enough to pull on and off; I'm ordering another pair.

  6. G Vel 3/5

    Too tall for petite users

Hard to get on and I would have preferred a toeless style. At 5'1" they rise too high, so they weren’t suitable for my post-vascular surgery needs.

  7. irene dellaria 5/5

    So comfortable I bought extras

Very comfortable and fairly easy to remove when following instructions. These stayed in place and didn’t ride down like another brand I tried. The toe area felt roomier and didn’t compress my toes while still supporting the foot. I bought more pairs and returned the others.

  8. Shanawaz 5/5

    Elegant and functional

They look nice and do the job — supportive without sacrificing style.

  9. E.Landes 5/5

    Great value and reliable fit

Measured with the provided chart and they matched perfectly. Compression felt correct and they didn’t slip during the day.

  10. Leticia 5/5

    Works as intended

Easier to put on than other pairs I’ve tried. They relieve discomfort and perform well overall.

  11. Riley 4/5

Good for curvy legs — much better than full tights

I feared thigh-highs would roll, but after trying full-length tights that slid down I switched. These fit true to the sizing guide and feel far more comfortable than full tights. They can shift a little and bunch behind the knee but not badly. The top holds on my curvy thighs without pain.

  12. Claudia 5/5

Comfortable and holds up under skirts

Comfortable, attractive, and the silicone keeps them in place. If between sizes choose the larger for a better fit.

  13. AAW 5/5

    Matches the description

    Exactly as advertised.
