Hi, I’m Emma from Crafting{E}. It’s that time of year again when red, white, and blue appear everywhere. The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays because it gives me a chance to celebrate and appreciate the freedoms of this great country. I love bringing out patriotic decorations, dressing up, and enjoying the holiday spirit.

I enjoy decorating for every holiday, and banners are one of my favorite décor items. I’ve shared several banner tutorials on my blog and I especially love designing printable banners. If you’ve seen my printable banners before, you know I make them unique by adding dimension. They’re not just flat printouts — I create 3D elements that add texture and visual interest.

My printable banners are practically free to make. All you need is a printer, ink, string, and cardstock. There are many printable banners online, but I always add three-dimensional details that make the finished banner look more polished and festive.

This 3D Fourth of July banner features a simple, classic design. What makes it stand out are the raised letters on each flag — a small touch that gives the banner a charming, handmade look.

Supplies:
- Bakers twine
- Glue dots or foam adhesive dimensionals
- Tape
- Scissors
- Banner printable printed on cardstock (download the printable from your preferred source)
Directions:
- Print the banner file on cardstock and cut out each flag and its matching letters.

- Place glue dots or foam dimensionals on the letter cutouts to give them height.

- Attach each letter to its corresponding flag, pressing gently so the adhesive holds.

- Punch holes in the top left and right corners of each flag for stringing.

- Thread the flags onto a length of bakers twine. To keep the flags from sliding, secure the back of each flag with a small piece of tape.

- Hang your banner where it will be seen and enjoy the festive touch it adds to your celebration.
Have fun crafting and happy 4th of July!
