Product description
What’s included: the tool body (battery and charger sold separately), one multi-use cutting blade for wood and metal, a hook-and-loop sanding pad, five sheets of sandpaper in assorted grits, an accessory (universal) adaptor and an Allen key for accessory changes.
Power and speed: This is a 12‑volt oscillating tool with an orbiting action capable of 5,000 to 20,000 orbits per minute. It combines a variable-speed trigger with an adjustable speed dial so you can dial in the rate to match the task — from delicate sanding to aggressive cutting.
Compatibility and accessories: The supplied universal adaptor threads onto the head so the tool can accept many competitive accessories, expanding its usefulness beyond the included blades and papers. The sanding pad secures hook-and-loop sanding sheets for finish work; the multi-use blade lets you cut, plunge, trim and remove grout in tight spots.
Durability and runtime: The internal gearcase is constructed of metal for longevity under jobsite conditions. The tool runs on the M12 battery ecosystem and benefits from REDLITHIUM pack chemistry for extended run time when paired with higher-capacity batteries. An LED panel on the side indicates remaining charge in 25% increments so you can plan work periods and battery swaps. Battery and charger are not part of this kit.
Pros
- Compact and lightweight for tight spaces
- Wide speed range (5k–20k OPM) with variable dial
- Universal adaptor expands accessory compatibility
Cons
- Sold as tool-only — no battery or charger
- Some users prefer tool-less accessory changes
- Smaller 12V class limits some heavy cutting tasks
VerdictA versatile, pocketable oscillating tool suited for trim, plumbing, electrical, flooring, and general site work. The M12 platform makes it easy to share batteries across compact tools, and the universal adaptor expands accessory options. The metal gear case and REDLITHIUM compatibility give useful durability and runtime for a 12V class tool. Ideal if you need a lightweight, quick-to-handle multi-t

Works only with newer M12 packs
Came without battery/charger, which I expected. Older M12 batteries slipped out during use and didn’t seat snugly; replacement unit behaved the same. A new genuine Milwaukee M12 battery fit perfectly. Tool works great otherwise, but a tool-less blade change would be a welcome update.

Durable and dependable for years
Bought one 6–7 years ago and it became a go-to. Size, weight and runtime matched my needs. It was simple, fast and reliable, and used my existing Milwaukee batteries until it was stolen from a jobsite.
