Product description
What’s in the package: This product ships as a 2-pack of jumbo C9-covered string lights. Each strand includes 10 multicolored jumbo C9 bulbs, 10 mounting hooks, an anchor stake for each bulb location, two spare replacement bulbs and two spare fuses. The set is supplied with E12-compatible bulb sockets and the necessary cord and plug for AC power.
Bulb and spacing details: The outer jumbo C9 bulb covers measure approximately 7.4 x 3.8 inches. Bulbs are positioned about 24 inches apart along the illuminated section of each strand, providing uniform spacing for pathways and borders. Each string’s total length is 10.5 feet with about 8.5 feet of active illuminated length; the package includes 10 path markers per strand to set a tidy border.
Installation and use: These lights can be planted in turf or soft ground using the included spikes, or fastened to roofs, fences, windows and railings with the supplied hooks or cable ties. Up to 86 strands can be linked for large installations, allowing extensive runs without frequent outlets. The anchors help hold the lights steady in snow or wind, making them suitable for winter displays.
Durability and safety: The wiring and bulb covers are made for outdoor conditions and meet industry rain-testing standards; the design is intended to withstand rain and snow. The AC plug assembly is not waterproof and must be sheltered from direct exposure to heavy rain. Replacement is straightforward: remove the outer C9 cover to access the inner lamp, unscrew the faulty lamp from the E12 socket, and screw in a fresh bulb. Fuses are housed in a slide-out chamber near the plug for quick swaps.
Replacement and maintenance: Bulbs and fuses are user-serviceable without special tools. Keep spare bulbs and fuses on hand for season-long use. Because the plug is polarized, it may not mate directly with non-polarized strings, so plan on using an appropriate extension or adapter for mixed installations.
Pros
- Large, vivid multicolored C9 bulbs
- Comes with spare bulbs and fuses
- Connectable for extended runs
Cons
- Short power cord from the plug
- Polarized AC plug may not join other strings
- Plug must be kept out of rain
VerdictA bright, durable solution for lining sidewalks and driveways with oversized C9 bulbs. The kit arrives ready to install with spare bulbs and fuses, stakes and hooks, and supports long runs by linking multiple strands. Great color and weather resistance make it ideal for seasonal and permanent outdoor displays, but note the short power lead and a polarized AC plug that can complicate chaining with

Durable and bright for a long driveway
We live on several acres and needed something visible from the road. The lights throw a strong color and have proven very resilient. Easy to hang and remove; we left them up for weeks with no failures and plan to add more next season.

Nice appearance but costlier than alternatives
The lights look attractive and perform well, but I noticed similar styles at other retailers for less. If cost is a concern, shop around for comparable packs.

Good size and easy assembly
Exactly the right scale for our front border. Assembly is fast — about five minutes for a full strand — and they look fantastic once lit.

Perfect for lining our sidewalk
These oversized lights are ideal for marking the walk. Simple to assemble, cheerful colors, and they survived a couple of Missouri snowstorms without issue.

Affordable and functional after assembly
They work well once put together — a bit of assembly required — and the bulb size is spot on for our display. Keep an extension cord handy; the cord leaves are short.

Looks great but won’t chain with some strings
These brighten the yard nicely and are kid-friendly to assemble. One drawback: the polarized plug means they won’t connect to non-polarized light strings, so I had to use a separate extension to run them with other sets.
