Product description
Fast, energy-conscious heating: The unit uses a 48-watt heating element engineered to heat water quickly and reduce the chance of freezing in cold conditions. It is designed to maintain water temperatures roughly between 77 and 95°F, so animals have access to liquid water even when outdoor temperatures drop below freezing. Low power draw allows continuous overnight operation without excessive energy use.
Generous 5.5L capacity: The bowl holds approximately 5.5 liters (about 194 ounces or 1.45 gallons), making it suitable for larger dogs, multiple pets, or extended outdoor feeding stations. That volume reduces refill frequency, which is helpful for busy owners, small farms, or wildlife feeding areas.
Intended uses and placement: This heated bowl works indoors and outdoors for dogs, cats, rabbits, backyard birds, chickens, and other animals. For best results place the bowl in a covered, wind-sheltered location such as a porch, coop, or patio. Do not submerge the unit; unplug it before emptying or cleaning and when not in use.
Materials and safety: Molded from BPA-free polypropylene, the basin is food-safe and built to withstand cold temperatures. The electrical components have been evaluated in UL testing and meet applicable U.S. and Canadian safety standards, so prolonged operation should not release harmful substances.
What’s included and care: The package contains the heated water bowl with the attached power cord and an instruction manual. Clean regularly, refill as needed, and keep the cord and plug dry. If issues arise, the manufacturer offers customer support to help troubleshoot or replace defective units.

Reliable small-animal waterer
Good heated bowl for dogs, cats and songbirds during cold weather. Solid quality and does the job well.

Great choice for chicken water in winter
Kept fresh water available for my flock of about a dozen. Holds plenty, resists tipping, and is easy to clean. I keep it elevated on pavers to protect the underside, but otherwise it’s essentially maintenance-free — plug in, refill when needed, and wipe clean every few days.

Sturdy and roomy — lasted through a deep freeze
Performed very well during a recent deep freeze and has outlived other models I've tried. It supplied water reliably for both wild and domestic animals when temperatures plunged.

Ideal for winter bird activity
Bought for backyard birds and it’s been excellent. Thick, durable plastic, easy to clean, and no ice buildup even during a heavy snow. The long cord is handy; it looked like a tiny pool for birds during the storm. Highly recommend for feathered visitors.

Well-built and reliable for backyard wildlife
Bought it for the critters that visit my yard when temps fell below zero. Very sturdy construction and a protected cord. It kept water warm around the clock and only needed daily refills as raccoons, possums, cats and birds drank from it. Definitely held up when other bowls kept freezing overnight.

Birds flock to it
I use it as a heated bird bath and it’s attracted everything from cardinals to flickers. Unlike shallow bird-only heaters, this holds a useful amount of water (I fill from a gallon jug in winter). When many birds perch the level drops fast, so I’m considering adding a small perch. Even at just below freezing it worked as expected.

Performs in subzero weather
Keeps water liquid even below zero. My only wish is that it had a handle or indented grip to make pouring and emptying easier.

Outstanding outdoor heated water bowl
This large heated bowl proved to be a great investment. It’s been left outside through cold nights and keeps the water liquid for my animals. The heating performance is stronger than I expected and prevents freezing, so my pets have access to warm water day and night. The cord stores tidily and the unit feels dependable for long-term outdoor use.
