Product description
Item #3505 — 30" Stained Glass Diamond Kite from In the Breeze is a complete flying set intended for outdoor family fun. The finished kite measures 30 inches wide by 30 inches high and includes three coordinated tails, each about 12 feet long, to stabilize flight and create vivid motion in the sky.
The sail is cut from lightweight, durable ripstop fabric with a full-color printed pattern that keeps its visual appeal while airborne. The frame uses fiberglass rods and simple connectors; the kite ships in a compact package and requires straightforward spar assembly to unfold into a full-size kite. The recommended wind range is roughly 6 to 20 MPH.
Every kit comes with the flying line pre-wound on a hand-friendly handle winder and a reusable nylon storage bag for transport and stowage. The compact packing makes it convenient for vacations or air travel since the spar pieces and fabric collapse into small, optimized packaging.
In the Breeze is a family-operated company based in Central Oregon with decades of experience designing outdoor fabric items, kinetic spinners and kites. The development process emphasizes color processing, printing detail, durable fabric choices, reinforced stitching and reliable hardware — fiberglass rods, connectors, string, swivels and other fittings — so each piece meets practical use and visual standards.
The kite is intended for beginners and casual flyers: simple to assemble, bright in the sky, and easy to store. For very high or sustained heavy-wind flying, spare spars and extra line are practical accessories, but the package supplies everything needed for most recreational outings.
Pros
- Comes as a full kit with line and storage bag
- Durable ripstop sail and fiberglass spars
- Compact packing great for travel
Cons
- Not designed for very strong winds
- Spar replacements may be needed after hard use
- Line attachment design can feel fiddly
VerdictThis 30" diamond kite is a colorful, user-friendly option that arrives as a complete kit and flies reliably in light to moderate winds. It’s sturdy enough for family outings and travel, though heavy flying or very strong gusts can damage spars. Excellent pick for beginners and kids who want an attractive, easy-to-assemble kite.

One-year update — still a favorite
Owned this for over a year — my 3-year-old adores it. Very easy to fly. The flying line is showing wear now, so I’ll replace it, but overall it’s been a hit with the kids.

Toddlers adore it — durable
My 2-year-old calls it his train kite. The bag makes packing quick. It flew fine and survived a few drops in water and sand, though one spar went missing in very strong winds. Is a replacement spar available?

Flies okay once airborne
The kite is well made but lacks much bow, so getting it to lift can be tricky. Once aloft it performs well, and you'll want extra line for high flying.

Nice but wouldn’t lift
Construction is decent, but I couldn't get this kite to fly from the ground.

Vibrant designs, very pleased
Ordered one for me and one for my boyfriend — the flamingo and flag designs were gorgeous and well made. Mine got stuck in a tree but I replaced it. Highly recommend.

Some stability issues
Tends to wobble side to side because of the way the line attaches. My daughter likes it, but another kite we have is heavier and steadier in the air. Also the spool notches are thicker than the line so it won’t stay clipped perfectly.
