Product description
This Equinavia Norse turnout blanket is offered as a no-fill, breathable sheet intended for cool, wet turnout rather than heavy winter warmth. Included in the package is the turnout sheet itself with the attached chest hardware, cross surcingles, and removable adjustable leg straps plus a tail strap.
The outer shell is 600D ripstop polyester treated with a water-resistant coating for surface moisture protection and everyday wear. Reinforced seams and gussets are stitched into stress points to increase longevity during turnout and play. There is no interior fill, so the sheet stays light and allows freedom of movement.
Inside, a 210D polyester taffeta lining provides a smooth next-to-hide layer and the wither area is padded with fleece to reduce rubbing. The design aims to keep the horse comfortable while shedding surface dampness and wind in milder conditions.
Fit and fastening include dual quick-release chest buckles, high-tensile cross surcingles, and adjustable, removable leg straps that help maintain a secure fit in active turnout. The sheet can be worn alone or layered over a stable sheet and works with compatible neck covers for added coverage. Sizes are offered in standard turnout lengths (for example an 81 or 84), so checking measurements before ordering is recommended.

Great 600D shell but order a size up
Lovely turnout sheet — the 600D fabric is exactly what I wanted for fall and spring. It runs smaller than other makers; my gelding wears an 81 everywhere else but needed an 84 here.

Did not keep horse dry
Construction felt cheap and it failed to repel water. My horse ended up soaked to the skin — very poor quality in my experience.

Nice fit but not watertight
Attractive and well assembled with a good fit, however it is not fully waterproof despite expectations.

Ordered in bulk for team use
We bought about 20 for our Polo string and are very pleased. They fit true to size and are roomy enough. Appreciate the plastic-covered tail strap and the overall adjustability.

Warmth for chilly, damp mornings
Handy for cool, damp mornings. The craftsmanship is strong and the straps feel sturdy. It looks smart and drew compliments. I ordered an 81 for my 16.3, 24-year thoroughbred and would recommend it; it shed the drizzle well for me.

Useful backup for the trailer
A simple, serviceable sheet to keep in the trailer or as a spare when others are wet. It fits fairly well and stays in place. The fabric is tough but a touch stiff; it serves its purpose.
