How to make your own Greek yogurt frosting:

Greek Yogurt Cream Cheese Frosting:
This frosting can be adapted to be soy-free, oil-free, dairy-free, gluten-free, grain-free, nut-free, egg-free, and sugar-free.
Above, the frosting was used on a Low Fat Banana Mug Cake.

The yogurt replaces butter or shortening found in traditional frostings, adding creaminess and a smooth texture while cutting back on unhealthy fat.
Many readers requested a soy-free version of a healthier cream cheese frosting. With leftover homemade yogurt from a Greek Yogurt Mac & Cheese experiment, I adapted this frosting and used it on carrot cake cupcakes for an Easter-friendly treat.

The carrot cake cupcakes recipe is available separately.
