Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 325°F. This recipe is formulated for a 9-inch square nonstick English shortbread pan.
  • Cut the butter into roughly 1-tablespoon cubes. Place the butter and brown sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, or use a large bowl and a handheld mixer.
